Amazing how deceptive the editing is from the very beginning
Raskin's video includes President Trump saying "we are going to walk down to the Capitol" while omitting his request for his supporters to "peacefully make their voices heard"
Watching the video, I see a ton of crimes being committed by people who are not President Trump
Maybe those people should be prosecuted and the Senate should go back to doing the people's business
The Democrats' position is incoherent
Raskin says Trump "incited an insurrection" and to hold him accountable that we must stretch the constitution to allow impeachment of private citizens
If he incited a riot, that's a crime, and the judicial system can handle it
What the Democrats want to do is *punish* the President for things that are not crimes
That's not what impeachment is for
It's for *removal* of a sitting officeholder, not punishment
If a prosecutor tried to bring this case against President Trump in a federal court, it would be laughed right out of court
So instead we have Congress launching a political impeachment against a private citizen
That's a bill of attainder - and unconstitutional

This is tragically funny, but there's a broader point here
People who call this an insurrection aren't paying attention, the perpetrators are simply handing evidence of their crimes over to the FBI out of public-spiritedness!
Antifa: "Journalists aren't allowed at our events, they lead to our members being arrested."
StopTheStealers: "Hi there nice FBI lady, why yes, I'd be perfectly happy to give you my video of our riot!"
Also, ffs, if you attended the #StopTheSteal protest and the FBI comes knocking DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM WITHOUT A LAWYER PRESENT no matter how "nice" they are being
