Maharashtra Guv Bhagat Singh Koshyari was scheduled to go to Dehradun today by a state govt plane However when Governor reached Mumbai Airport, he was told that permission to fly him in that plane has not been given. He has now booked a commercial flight to Dehradun.

Whatever happened is very bad. Maharashtra has never seen such a thing in the past. Governor is a constitutional post & must be respected. At the same time, Governor should also respect the state. CM & Gov are important posts & they must respect each other: Bala Nandgaonkar, MNS Image
Raj Bhavan was intimated about permission not being granted for aircraft to Governor y'day itself. Raj Bhavan Secretariat should have planned it in a better way. State govt has taken serious note of it & CM has directed to fix responsibility of concerned officer: Maharashtra CMO

We told political parties that when polls are conducted in more than 1 state, counting can't be done a day or two after polls as it becomes difficult for other states if one state's result is out. State-wise number of poll phases vary,hence we keep counting at the end: CEC
