And yeah
I love goofy Ted Cruz upset that the first and only black POTUS/VPOTUS might be significant black history figures and they are unsurprisingly both Democrats. But "Tim Scott."
These are the two highest ranking black elected officials in us history. They're both Democrats. You can't simply wish it away.

ever notice how republicans are always giving democrats "advice" on how they should go forward? it was ridiculous when the govt was under gop control but now republicans are "advising" dems on how they could lose if they hold trump accountable. hilarious how that works out.
its like patrick mahomes sending tom brady some notes on how to win the super bowl.
its a phenomenon ive watched for over 20 years now. republicans lose the popular vote and the presidential vote, midterms, control of the house/senate, but theyre like "let me tell democrats how to win!"

a lot of this impeachment trial is feeding into liberals who understandably want someone to "make the case" vs the last potus and then have A VERDICT rendered on him being bad.

and just to be clear: none of that is going to happen.
he should def be called to account, its just you're not going to get the appropriate ending. ever.

kevin mccarthy does not speak like a native english speaker. he has the oddest way of speaking and i feel like im the only one who ever notices it.

and no, i didnt insert the "the." he does this all the time. i feel im going mad. he don't talk normal. i dont think its a california thing. he just doesn't speak like a typical american.

impeachment trial making me think about the value of stories/narratives that load up a story from beginning to end. last four years have been a lot of stories thrown out there without something connecting them all and you end up forgetting it.
ive had a project ive been noodling about with for years in this vein...
yes we have books that do a lot of this, and some things get big enough to have a wikipedia entry, but theres a lot of stuff inbetween that just kind of floats off into the ether.
