Local healthcare partnerships covering Somerset, Derbyshire, Cambridgeshire and Lancashire are among areas that have given first doses to over 90% of those aged 70 and over - the best completion rates in England.
The South West leads on first doses for over 80s - with almost 96% given their first jab between December 8 and February 7.
All other regions of England have given their first dose to more than nine in ten of the over 80s, with London a distinct outlier
But in terms of second jabs, London has now fully vaccinated the highest proportion of over 80s - at 13.9% - affording that smaller number of people greater protection.
The lowest is in the Midlands - at 9.2% - up 0.3 percentage points from the week prior
A fast pace of dose giving so far means the UK stands relatively strong in the international rankings of vaccinations.
So far the UK is ranked 4th in the world, according to statistics compiled by @OurWorldInData, a team of statistical researchers based in Oxford

This week KPMG boss Bill Michaels made headlines for stating that unconscious bias training is "complete c--p"
Within a day of the comments, the 52-year old Australian was forced to stand aside
"Unconscious bias training is more than c--p. It is a crock. One that has been rolled out thanks to a collaboration of the dim, the opportunistic and the easily bullied," says @DouglasKMurray
