👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The pandemic has had a financial impact on many households so we’re investing an extra £100 million to help low-income families in the year ahead.

❤️ An extra £120 million for mental health - we know how tough these past few months have been, and we’re committed to delivering the support needed.

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 To tackle the hardship COVID is causing to families across Scotland, we’re investing an extra £20m to help councils tackle financial insecurity. #ScotBudget

⚡️ We’re supporting a green recovery, with an extra £45m for fuel poverty, energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This takes total spending on heat and energy efficiency to over £258 million, helping us meet our climate ambitions.

👩‍💻 We’re supporting businesses by extending the 100% non-domestic rates relief, ensuring those struggling with COVID have the support they need.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Properties in retail, hospitality, leisure & aviation sectors will now benefit from this relief for all of 2021-22. #ScotBudget

NS: "Which is 3.8% of the total number of tests and means that the overall number of confirmed cases is now 194,954."

NS: "As you've heard me do many times before I will caution against reading too much into a single day's figure but obviously that's a lower test positivity than we've had for some time, and gives us further reason to be hopeful that's going very firmly in the right direction."

First Minister @NicolaSturgeon: "I'll give a very quick update on today's statistics. 1,121 new cases were reported yesterday. That's 5.2% of all of the tests carried out, and takes the overall number of cases to 194,269."

NS: "1,317 people are currently in hospital with Covid. That's 66 fewer than yesterday. 99 people are receiving intensive care, which is 1 fewer than yesterday."

NS: "However, I'm sorry to report that 64 more deaths were registered of patients who first tested positive over the previous 28 days, and so the total number of people who have died under this daily measurement is now 6,828."
