1/ Via a whistleblower about institutionalized abuses going on in a gold mine right now under the direction of Northern Vancouver Public Health.

These people need help, RIGHT NOW.

2/ “I work at Pretivm Resouces, a gold mine in north western BC. It is an isolated work camp consisting of 3 different camps.

We have 23 positive cases of covid which has caused madness in our camps.

Northern Health has been informed and is setting the rules.”

3/ “they have isolated all the cases in their 10'x8' dorm rooms for over 2 weeks. 
- we work a 2 week in, 2 week out rotation
- some groups work 3 weeks in, 3 weeks out
- they are forcing people to stay past their going home date.”

4/ “- the people are healthy, just isolated in their rooms. food is brought to them.
- one wing of the building is a full isolation area
- they are locking up healthy people
- now they have force tested EVERYONE
- 470 people are in full lock down for up to 28 days minimum”

5/ “- guards have been placed to prevent anyone from leaving of their own free will
- so some people might be locked in for up to 7 weeks
- we have been forced to fly to work ever since covid started as essential workers
- we fly people in from across canada”

6/ “- some of my coworkers have been locked up for 25 days so far
- if we say no to testing, we will be fired
- they are mass testing and providing no info on the type of tests
- we are being held hostages and forced to work past our shifts”

7/ “- they say they care about our health yet they only care about the gold
- management is in full support of testing everyone
- it won't be long and we will be forced to vaccinate or lose our jobs

I will be unemployed then and without an income”

The company is also asking employees to ensure they have their Personal Healthcare Number available at the time of testing.

According to the whistleblower, this means the people who were in isolation can be sent home, and the next round of employees sent to work, subject to the same practices and protocols listed in this thread.
