Just hit me there are probably 30,000+ DSA members who don't know who Max Baucus is and how much he set back universal healthcare.
Too many people spend too much shitposting Joe Leiberman and not enough people spend time shitposting Max Baucus and Kent Conrad.
Max Baucus killed the public option in Obamacare, Kent Conrad was the chair of the Senate Budget Committee who worked with billionaires and bosses to push austerity and almost cut Social Security during the Obama admin.

Bernie Sanders became a meme, put the meme of himself on a sweatshirt, sold out, sold tshirts and stickers, raised $1.8 mil for charity, made GETTY IMAGES donate their cut, and another company donate 50 coats.

That's the guy the political/media establishment said is out touch.
And he's still spitting mad that congress can't get its shit together to help people, so he's writing a budget reconciliation bill that doesn't need Republican votes, and in the meanwhile he's planning to win a raise for 32 million workers. ImageImageImage

The AFL-CIO is a federation, not a union

Unions are not the labor movement. The labor movement has more than unions

Unions do not have bosses, they have elected officials

You can use "rank and file" however you want
Workers can be leaders, let them identify their title. Ask them before publishing.

Don't ask workers how they feel if you ask bosses what they think. Ask workers what they think. You're writing a story, not a emotional analysis.

Labor law isn't broken. It was designed this way.
Sectoral bargaining discourse isn't just about the gig economy. That's not even what started it in the US.

Workers are the experts. They have more experience in the field than the economists

You don't have to repeat the bosses same talking points that they've had for 100+ years
