A dream that was higher than K2, Nanga Parbat or Broad peak. I wanted to summit because the children in my village could read. So they could summit all avenues and peaks of life they tread /3
Our generations grew up hosting foreign friends, carrying their stuff as porters, all the while as they climbed to glory, we watched their expeditions forgetting our own misery /4
Here began my journey to reclaim the honor for my country, carrying her flag on my chest to the heights never reached, feats never conquered
They called me Sadpara the leopard of snow, the man who could survive against all odds /5
