"My hope is that the Republicans in Congress listen to their constituents," Biden says, pointing to polls that show widespread support for his covid relief proposal.
While touting his $1.9 trillion proposal and saying it's all necessary spending, Biden also says he's also prepared to hear ideas to make the "plan cheaper."
"I can't tell you a date when this crisis will end but I can tell you we're doing everything possible to have that day come sooner rather than later."
"I believe we'll be approaching normalcy by the end of this year and God willing this Christmas will be better than last," Biden says.
