What is wrong with Manchin? A gratuitous, mean spirited and sexist move. Just appalling
It is ludicrous considering that she has worked with conservatives - at AEI among other places. Any replacement is going to be far to her left.
At a time a group of Rs is trying to build bridges Manchin is sniping from the sidelines.
The irony is that losing @neeratanden would be a win for the far left. If @SenatorCollins, @SenatorRomney, @lisamurkowski want an ally they will stick with her.

Kamala lines are written by the WH screw ups: "You're the task force head so 23 infected WH people and counting but you don't require masks. How many will it take?"
"You didn't quarantine after sitting in front of Mike Lee. What makes you think you don't have to abide by CDC quarantining?"
"Was it right to endanger secret service for Trump's ride around the block?"

POSTAL FACT: Each day the Postal Service processes and delivers 181.9 million pieces of First-Class Mail. facts.usps.com/first-class-ma… Let's do some math
in a month it will deliver over 5.4B pieces of mail. In 2 months almost 11 B.
in 2016: The total number of voters who voted early, absentee or by mail more than doubled from 24.9 million in 2004 to 57.2 million in 2016. Break out the vote by mail and you get 23% who voted by mail/absentee.

Before voting senators should have to get 7 out of 10 on a simple test on the facts/law. I bet at least half would flunk. Here we go: How long after the July 25 call did OMB put a hold on aid to Ukraine?
Who overheard Sondland talking to the president on July 26?
Did President Trump use the word "corruption" in the July 25 call?

A thread for th nuance-challenged and those who abide by the adage that anything worth doing is worth overdoing
We are not (at least, I am not) talking about gathering mobs and chasing people down the street with pitchforks
We have a long tradition of public demonstration and rebuke. Protests outside abortion clinics, for example, intended to make people feel uncomfortable

Too much to ask for next POTUS? Gets his facts from his own administration, not “Fox & Friends.” Hires people with a day, a week, even a month (!) of government experience. Does not churn out insulting nicknames for adversaries.

Doesn’t hire relatives.wapo.st/2IqqIMK?tid=ss…
Understands that the “trade deficit” is not a bill to be paid.
Keeps the number of lies under, say, 500 for a year.
Is tougher on Russia than on Mexico.
Understands that nnews organizations aren’t “licensed” and are protected by the IstA so they can “write whatever they want.”
Never asked any woman (or man) to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Reads a book now and then.
Does not single out specific American companies to vilify publicly
Understands not to crow about the stock market.
Never would draw moral equivalence between neo-Nazis and anyone.
