Direct participants in Kehoe's fraud, to the detriment of the public (us), was in fact then Salinas Mayor Anna Caballero.

Caballero has always been an eager facilitator.

Now reporters are running public relations puff peace's for @CASenCaballero as someone on @GavinNewsom's short list for California Attorney General.

The Senator's negatives are routinely listed as superficial differences while saying "she is more conservative than others"

Keep in mind in California former LA County Sheriff Lee Baca is sitting in federal prison and Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith may soon be joining him - so it's a low bar.

are a disservice to Californians. Californians need to be better informed and paid journalists have a duty to perform that function. Journalists have an ethical obligation to fully cover those who are covered. To present information they are aware about that is important

to maintain not only the public trust but societal integrity.

Caballero should never be on a short list for Attorney General. But after @XavierBecerra and his corrupt pardon of Caballero's friend Dave Drew - California needs better coverage.
