... this is @MCoSheriff Derrell Simpson. He is in charge of internal affairs.

Three months ago I had a conversation with Simpson about a probable violation of Penal Code section 115, causing a false document to be publicly filed.

I have accurate information that @SalinasPD's

@adelefrese asked the sheriff deputies to perform a welfare check on Salinas Police Officer Gabe Carvey. Carvey wasn't answering his phone and made some comments about his state.

County communications (so @WendyRootAskew's oversight responsibility) manipulated the document

to read "Dana Carvey" so the public would not find this record and be alerted to a growing scandal within @SalinasPD.

It's called burying the clues.

Cmdr. Simpson assured me they were opening an investigation and would also provide me a copy of the record per my request.
4/

It's been three months.

This is the state of Monterey County right now. Their are documents being hidden from the public and reporters who make these records public - with analysis.

@SalinasPD has a criminal problem in the upper ranks.

So does the Sheriff department.

Does everyone feel safe in @JimmyPanetta MoCo?

Remember Jimmy was a prosecutor?

It's important in this age of Nazism to understand who pushed or helped push an agenda that led to more corruption in local communities across this great country.

In 2010 I was talking with a former judge, and notorious right winger, John Price who asks me if I had ever heard Image
2/

of Boots Road Consulting and Spencer Critchley.

I told John I heard both names come up from time to time 😂 and the former judge and notorious right winger tells me he thinks we should all have lunch.

😂😂

Spencer Critchley got a paid gig with the @CityofSalinas to spin
3/

and crisis mgmt. (via his @bootsroad) whatever criminal conspiracy the powers that be wanted managed.

Spencer Critchley has had lunch several times with @Kelly_McMillin.

And what did Kelly McMillin do over 4 years? @FBIWFO Image

.@CityofMonterey is really trying to sell the public (because the council has made up its mind), on the safety of legal marijuana sales.

Look people. Sales of marijuana IS safe.

The people you (city officials) are jumping in business with are the problem. It isn't the 420.
2/

It's beautiful to again watch @MontereyPolice gloss over organized crime within Monterey County marijuana.

Hober's report is embarrassingly unprofessionally. It's about as good as former Salinas Police Chief Louis Fetherolf's "state of the city" report a bunch of years ago.
3/

IT WAS SO BAD (Salinas) the officials scrapped the entire report and redrew the parameters & tone. It was a white wash.

Y'all locals know who the Senior Deputy City Attorney was then?

Christine Davi - is the current city attorney for Monterey.

@HaffaAlan I just saw your

.@MontereyPolice refused to investigate a fentanyl drug overdose. The source of China White made the PD uncomfortable.

Richard Lee, who ultimately becomes the DA investigator that ended the Brass Rail cocaine case from Oldtown Salinas, was a new Phillips hire at the DA's office Image
2/

Monterey Police wasn't working the case and Lee was told to contact a private attorney to discuss the case.

That private attorney?

Bill Bryan

Who is Bill Bryan? Bryan was a cocaine lawyer and his partner was Tom Wills.

John Phillips and myself helped Wills become a judge. Image
3/

What happened to the case?

There was no coroner inquest.

No competent investigation by @MontereyPolice - and the coroner ultimately ruled the death an "accidental overdose".

The coroner is part of @MCoSheriff. The coroner who ruled that Monterey drug overdose accidental? Image

"Callahan, the former president of World Jai Alai, was shot dead by John Martorano, one of Bulger’s hitmen.

Martorano testified he was working for Bulger when he killed Callahan, who was also a friend of his. Bulger wanted Callahan dead" bostonherald.com/2021/02/12/dis…

Victims of Organized Crime pay real consequences.

In Monterey County we have a guy who has traded on that "joke" his entire career.

Isn't it interesting how we will be open to entire serial television shows portraying public corruption in places like Baltimore (@AoDespair)

Lotta corrupt "black" officials portrayed and we know there is a lot of corruption in big cities.

But an insular tourist / ag town

run by the most powerful white dude in California - @LeonPanetta12 - and he doesn't even get asked about corruption in real life.

The best capture of Monterey County is when a lot of social justice warrior white women (mainly) have to deal with an abusive man and sex.
3/

But in reality we have it all - really.

A big public hospital - run by a good old boy white dude becomes the fiscal agent for up and comer UCLA educated, Latina attorney - becomes the laundry machine for a legal grant from the Packard Foundation, to fund a $90,000 a year

What happened with the woman who was arrested with @RepJimmyPanetta's cousin by @MonteteyPolice?

Well @bradleyzeve didn't report on this important public issue but I will.
2/

The individual arrested with @JimmyPanetta's cousin has already negotiated away a jury trial, there was no trial, and was sentenced.

That individual has already violated probation (the probation from the gun arrest with Panetta) and been dealt with by the court, twice.
3/

If this was a case of Jimmy Panetta and his dad @LeonPanetta12 simply having just one dirtbag cousin that would be one thing.

But justice is for sale in MoCo and it's probable.

And that is what took place here.

The Monterey County DA and the Monterey County bench DID NOT
