Rohrabacher in 2017 revealed he'd offered to help Assange get a pardon in exchange for info suggesting Russians didn't hack Dems in '16. (They did.) But it's wild to see the video. Spain's La Sexta, which aired it, says it was secretly recorded by agents protecting the embassy.
This meeting came up last year when Assange's lawyers cited it to argue against his extradition. But there's no evidence Trump or the WH okayed offering Assange a pardon. John Kelly blocked Rohrabacher from meeting with Trump about this scheme. businessinsider.com/john-kelly-blo…
There's no audio of the meeting. A security contractor for the Ecuadorian Embassy, UC Global, was spying on Assange and made the tape. Ex-employees allege the firm's owner, David Morales, sold info to the CIA. He is awaiting trial in Spain. english.elpais.com/spanish_news/2…
The Senate Intelligence Committee’s August report detailed Rohrabacher’s receipt in 2016 of sensitive documents from suspected Russian intelligence agents. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…

People climbing wall on west front earlier.
Back online after losing service outside Capitol as the Trumpers stormed the building. Some backed up stuff followed. Here the woman in the blue Trump hat tried to dissuade idiots from storming building. Partly by saying the leaders were antifa, but still, good for her.

Angela Stanton-King, an obscure right wing figure pardoned by Trump by Trump just screamed into loud, a very much working mic, “my mic isn’t working.” And: “They’re trying to shut us down.”
Alex Jones calls Joe Biden a “slave of Satan.”
Jones, unlike most speakers here, admits Trump may have to leave office. “Whatever happens in 15 days.” But he compensates for that weakness by calling Biden a communist agent.

The big loser in this expose seems to be Abbe Lowell. Diller's dead. Baras has served his time. Broidy's already taken a zillion PR hits. But this suggests that DOJ at least suspected Lowell, a renowned defense lawyer, of illegally lobbying the WH.

Notably, Lowell represents GOP fundraiser Nickie Lum Davis. In August Lowell negotiated with DOJ a deal in which Davis pleaded guilty to aiding/abetting illegal lobbying for Malaysia (to kill DOJ's IMDB investigation) and providing evidence against Broidy. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…
Lowell was also Davis' lawyer at the time she engaged in the 1MDB lobbying scheme she has admitted was illegal. And he was personally involved those lobbying efforts. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…
