Mohan Delkar, Lok Sabha MP from Dadra & Nagar Haveli committed suicide a few days back in a Mumbai Hotel.

He also wrote that he chose to commit suicide in Mumbai (as opposed to his home UT) because he knows he would get justice in Maharashtra.
Delkar was an advocate for Tribal rights and began his career as a Union leader in Silvassa.
In December 2016, Praful Patel, who was a BJP MLA and Minister of State for Home in Gujarat from 2010-12, was appointed as the Administrator for Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
He is the one apparently named in the suicide note along with other top officials of the Union Territory.
