29 June 2018:
#FATF places Pakistan on the list of "High Risk Jurisdictions subject to Enhanced Monitoring" owing to structural deficiencies in AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering & Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Frameworks.
Failure to improve could result in black-listing
4 March 2019:
Pakistan introduces SROs to implement #UNSC resolutions 1267 and 1373.
Preventive measures that include freezing and seizure of assets, arms embargoes and travel embargoes were enforced.
Nationwide crackdown (under National Action Plan) on Jaish-e-Muhmmad, Falah-i-Insaniyat Foundation, & Jamat ud Dawah. Sindh, Punjab & Balochistan govts seized & took administrative control over establishments under these organizations. List of banned outfits updated
October 2019
65 frozen properties belonging to Jamaat ud Dawa, Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation and Jaish-i-Mohammad seized under the UNSC 1948 and UNSC Freezing & Seizure Order 2019.
Six properties belonging to Tehreek-i-Taliban Afghanistan also seized

FATF expressed serious concerns with the overall lack of progress by Pak to address its TF risks, including poor demonstration of an understanding of transnational TF risks
January-February 2020:
Amendments to Key Acts
Pakistan made amendments to many major acts:
- Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (Amendment) Bill 2020
- Mutual Legal Assistance (Criminal Matters) Bill 2020
- Amendments to the ATA 1997 (2020)
- Amendments to AMLA 2020.
February 2020:
FATF Plenary Statement: Pakistan Compliant with 14/27 Points, retained on grey-list
Despite improvements, FATF expressed concerns given Pak's failure to complete its action plan in line with the agreed timelines & in light of the TF risks emanating from it
Feb '20 - Sep '20:

- CTD Punjab arrested suspected terrorists in Gujranwala
- Sindh decided to register all madrassas as educational institutions to minimise risks
