As someone well versed in the Bible who attended seminary, I cant express my anger at Cafeteria Christians like @gregsteube who cherry pick the Bible they don't even understand to justify hate. Nothing screams hypocrisy than those who quote Leviticus, ALWAYS to condemn others...1

...start with foundation: Under Christianity, we're all sinners. So why is it GOPrs think they can say "Oh, we can treat these people terribly because we think they're sinners." By what right, @RepGregSteube? You believe the power to judge is yours, based on part of Leviticus?..2

...but the good thing, @RepGregSteube is that under Leviticus 22 - one of the more repulsive parts of Leviticus - you need to know: Was your wife a virgin when she married you? If so, bring her to her father's home and invite the men of her city to come stone her to death....3

...you, @RepGregSteube, one of God's frauds, want to pick and choose - "Let me condemn others with the Bible by grabbing a section, but then ignore the section *in the same chapter* that you might find inconvenient. It is so easy for a Biblical fraud like you to dig in to...4

...find something to condemn others with, @RepGregSteube, while you preen in arrogance, thinking you have the authority to judge others. I'm sure you condemn homosexuality and have lots of debates about why YOU - oh Holy one - can treat others terribly if you think they sin...5

...if youre Biblically illiterate @RepGregSteube, you probably rely on Leviticus to condemn homosexuality (even though Leviticus is largely interpreted as instructions for religious leaders). Better choice: Romans 1. Oh, but wait! Paul also considered debating to be sin...6

...and once again, @RepGregSteube, that condemnation is right the same chapter. There is no "God highlights homosexuality" page in the Bible. There is no "here is a ranking of where homosexuality stands on the lists of things condemned in the Bible." They're all the same....7

...in other words, being haughty, arrogant, foolish, or being a Christian who files a lawsuit against another Christian, is no different in its Biblical "sin" rating than homosexuality. But I'm sure you don't feel you have the right to deny rights to lawyers, @RepGregSteube...8

...or to other members of Congress. Now, I could dig deep into why the utter hatred that people like you dig out of the Bible to condemn homosexuality is theological idiocy that is simply designed to provide cover for hatred, @RepGregSteube. And then when you people say....9

..."Hate the sin, love the sinner." By what authority? We are ALL sinners, @RepGregSteube. Why do YOU get to decide whether you improve yourself or condemn others? Sounds awfully haughty and arrogant. Which is just the same as being gay, in Paul's worldview.....10

...you people worship wealth & reward greed - which Paul condemns as sin - but then stand above the oppressed saying "they are sinners! So let's fire them and deny them housing and treat them terribly." You, @RepGregSteube, need to try a new church that isn't pure hatred of...11
