“Touchscreen voting machines pulled after complaints of switching votes in St. Louis mayor's race” - 2/26/21 #HandMarkedPaperBallots 1/

If u use a touchscreen, always check to confirm that the choice shown on the screen AND on the paper are correct.
radio.com/kmox/news/loca…
2/ “With days to go before Tuesday's mayoral election, the Election Board is responding to complaints of touchscreen machines switching the votes of some absentee voters.”
3/ When touchscreens do this, it is typically attributed to miscalibration. Pens don’t have calibration issues. Just sayin’.
4/ “‘We don't think it's an extensive problem at all,’ said Republican Director of Elections Gary Stoff, after a handful of voters complained their picks for mayor or aldermen were being overridden by the touchscreen voting machines.”
5/ “Stoff says three touchscreen machines have been pulled from the floor and replaced.”
6/ “‘Sometimes just in moving the machines from one floor to another, they might get jostled around and it might throw that calibration off a little bit,’ Stoff said.”
7/ The machines in St. Louis City were supplied by Diebold (dissolved). ES&S has the St. Louis City contract. (Note: @VerifiedVoting mistakenly attributes all Diebold systems to Dominion bc Dominion bought the IT rights. But the contract = control & is what matters here)
8/ I’ve been meaning to mention this to VV but keep getting distracted. Before the 2020 sh#t show, it didn’t matter so much.
9/ “If a touch screen voting machines tries to swtich your vote in Tuesday's eleciton, Stoff says notify a poll worker of the problem right away.”
10/ I don’t mean to criticize VV over this. Just wanted to tag them so they saw it in case I got distracted again. Again, it didn’t seem very important before all of the attacks on Dominion. But it probably is now. I’ve let them know.
11/ The Wharton Business School did the same thing in 2017 which made ESS look like it has less control than it does and Dominion look like it has more control than it does. trustthevote.org/wp-content/upl…
12/ I’m a huge fan of Verified Voting’s Verifier Tool. I hope they fix this one aspect to distinguish Diebold/ESS from Diebold/Dominion (as opposed to calling them both Diebold/Dominion). After the singling out of Dominion by the GOP, it matters more than it did before.

Fun fact: @GOP is using talking points from Ben Shapiro who used to circulate pro-Yanukovich talking points while at Breitbart. Yanukovich was Manafort’s client in Ukraine. He was ousted & lives in Russia in exile. These people will say anything for money. They are all dirty. 1/
3/ Ben Shapiro used to work for Breitbart.

Dear @gagop: Advocating #handmarkedpaperballots isn’t a conspiracy theory. Do I need to remind you that a federal court agreed w/ @CoalitionGoodGv that Georgia’s prior paperless Diebold/ES&S voting machines were unconstitutional? Or that those machines lost 127k black votes? 1/
3/ Do I need to remind you of this too? Because we would never have known about it without @CoalitionGoodGv. apnews.com/article/877ee1…

As FBI issues a WANTED notice for Konstantin Kilimnik (who received polling data from Manafort in August 2016), questions about why @vlasto leaked proprietary exit polling data to the Trump campaign on election night 2016 could resurface. 1/

In 2019, Kilimnik told me (through his Twitter alias, which the SIC revealed to be @PBaranenko), that the polling data he received from Manafort was just some basic stuff. Publicly available. Seems he lied. 1/ Image

Never forget that Paul Manafort shared 2016 polling data with Oleg Deripaska's associate Konstantin Kilimnik. ("Stop the steal" was a psyop.) 1/
