For example, these are the sub-categories under video & animation category. This holds for all categories. Go for the sub-categories, not the main category. That's where the money is
Check these gigs under video animation gig. Check what people are doing to make mo$$. You too can do this. Who says you can't?
Spend the time to go through the whole website, looking at categories, subcategories, and gigs. The idea is to get a grasp on what services others are offering and give you some ideas about what you can also sell. If you’re like me, you may quickly become overwhelmed with the
amount of different services that are available. What type of service makes the most sense for you to offer?
WHAT ARE YOU GOOD AT?
Well, now that you have an idea of what is available on Fiverr, sit down with a piece of paper and make a list of your skill set. What are you good
at? What do you enjoying doing What skills do you have? Right now, just write everything down, and don’t worry about whether it would
make a good gig or not.
For example, I’m good at SEO, copywriting, and blog writing. These aren't my passion - it is where the money is!
I won't advise you to follow your passion as a freelancer. More often than not, that passion may not pay the bills. What happens if it doesn't? Stop freelancing? Check what people are buying and learn the skills needed to offer that service. Passion or not, stack the money
Again, audit your skills. Write it down. From this list, remove anything that you don’t really like to do. On Fiverr, if you’re successful, you’ll sell your gig over and over and over again. Even if you don't like doing that thing which sells most, you can still create a gig
And outsource. I have seen many people with zero skills making $1k-$2k on fiverr. What are they doing? Receive orders and outsource to anyone who can do it. Pocket the differences.
LOOK OVER FIVERR
Now, take a close look at each one of those skills. Go to the appropriate
section on Fiverr and see what kind of gigs are being offered for that skill. For example, for designing logos, go to the section listing logo gigs. Examine a dozen or so of the gigs for that service. Get an idea of the prices being asked, the services being offered, the optional
services, and anything else you can glean from the listings
Notice that each gig offers three parts:
• Basic service – the lowest price for the simplest service. For book
cover, this might include simply a JPEG of the cover. Ideally, this is a
deliverable that requires
little to no work for you, something you’ve pre-made but is very useful.
• Standard service – a better package than basic service, because it includes more services or deliverables. In our book cover example, you might deliver the source Adobe Photoshop file in addition to the
JPEG, and also deliver it faster. It’s common to include the option for
a stock image on this level of service.
Premium service – this is your high-end package and is the one you’d like everyone to purchase if possible. For the book cover, you can include a 3D rendering of the
cover, a back cover, spine, or paperback version in addition to the e-book version. You could add an extra revision, or other options. Include options such as “Commercial rights” on this level; if they need it for their business, they should pay the higher rate.
Tips: How to make more money with your gigs
Each gig allows for optional services such as increasing the number of revisions, getting the gig done more quickly, and adding extra features such as a logo or background music for videos.
Remember the extras for commercial license,
faster delivery, stock images
and so on. These require little to no effort from you yet add value for your clients. Think of other options that make sense and require little effort from you. If your basic gig was “I will write SEO article of 500 words ”, you could add an option
to include stock photos or provide an SEO audit of their websites (You can use free site like seositecheckup.com). Be creative
and you’ll drastically expand your ability to make additional income.
Don’t go crazy, though, and offer everything under the sun. Add the
options that make sense without going overboard. That tends to scare away clients. Look over gigs for each of the services that you’d like to offer, until you have a good idea of what’s selling, the prices, and the regular and optional services.
HOW TO DELIVER AT A PROFIT
Now that you have a list of services, and you have an idea of how the gigs look on Fiverr along with the price that they’re selling for, think about how you would deliver them.
One of the most important facts about Fiverr is the ability to deliver
great services for low cost. This is especially true of new gigs. You see, when you first create a gig, you must offer it at a low price. We’ll get into why that is true later.
SO THIS PART IS CRITICAL FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND
You must be able to deliver your service quickly. If
you’re charging five dollars for the basic service (you’ll receive around $3.50 after Fiverr and PayPal takes their cut), then it should be something that you can deliver within a few minutes.
How much time should you allow to complete a gig? Figure out an hourly rate that you
would like to make – let’s say, for the sake of argument, that your rate is $30 an hour. In that case, you need to be able to complete and deliver a gig within 7 minutes to make that rate.
That changes the picture, doesn’t it?Let’s say you decide you want to offer a proofreading
gig. How quickly can you proofread a thousand words? 30 minutes? An hour? Yet most proofreading gigs offer a thousand words, and sometimes more, for five dollars.
If it takes you 30 minutes to proofread a thousand words, then you’re making $7 an hour, assuming your price is five
dollars. That’s not a lot of money for quite a bit of work. I don’t mean to sound like too big of a jerk here, but you can make a great deal more than that flipping burgers in a fast food joint. Not too exciting to
me. What do you do to get around this?
USE TEMPLATES
The other secret to getting work done fast is to use templates where possible. Let’s say you want to create a gig offering e-book covers. Now, that sounds like a pretty labor-intensive process, doesn’t it?
Think about what you have to do: find the appropriate
graphics, load them into Adobe Photoshop or some other tool, add all the text in the appropriate fonts, and all of the other things that go into designing and creating a great
book cover. But do you have to really do any of that?
Actually, you don’t. There are quite a few
packages out there, available on
the Internet, that let you create stunning e-book covers based on templates.
An e-book template is a predesigned graphic for covers. Once you have these, all you need to do is
fill in the blanks with the information provided by your client and save it into the appropriate format. All the work of design has been done for you.
Templates are available for quite a few different things:
• e-book covers
• contracts and legal documents
• videos
websites
• PowerPoint presentations
• flyers
• brochures
• certificates
• stationary
• infographics
• invitations
• and so forth
You can find many of these for free, or for a small charge. Just make sure to read the terms and conditions of whatever you find to
ensure that your allowed to resell the templates. You can’t just grab any old thing off the Internet
to sell it as your own. That violates copyright law. If you can’t find templates, you can make them yourself. This means you do
the work once to make multiple designs, save
them, and after that use them
over and over again

HOW TO TRANSFORM YOUR DEAD FIVERR GIGS INTO A MONEY-POMPING MACHINE
I see many people creating their fiverr gigs in a completely frustrating way. No order will frustrate you. Creating fiverr gigs in a wrong way is the smartest way to end your fiverr career. It sucks.
Write it down. Know your ideal clients. What are their pain points, desires, fears, and dreams.
For example, my ideal clients are weight loss coaches, fitness trainers and gym owners who reside in the US, UK, Canada, and Honk Kong
After this, go to fiverr, hit the search button and type using the keywords of your desired gigs. Know what freelancers like you are offering. Note their Unique Selling Points (UPSs) and the way they set up their gigs. It can be funny seeing new sellers without reviews
If you are a copywriter here, I urge you to treat your clients like criminal scumbags
If you ask 9 out of 10 copywriters what they want to know for making more sales, they'll ask you about all the best copywriting tricks, tactics, and techniques
But, they are asking the wrong
questions
That's like asking an FBI agent what's more important.....being able to shoot a criminal in the eye from 300 miles away or knowing how to profile a criminal so they know where that criminal will be, what their next move is, how they think, and the best way to catch
them.
Obviously, I'm not saying you should call your clients criminals
Or they are criminals (context, my friend, context)
But, if you know how to profile your clients like lawmen do....so you know everything about them psychologically, emotionally, and even physically....you
I do not fancy birthday, but this thread is probably the best thread you will read on Twitter this year (If you take action).
It's a zero to hero, A-Z class on starting on Fiverr as a freelancer. If you don't need it, kindly RT for those who may need it on your TL
Who doesn’t need a little extra money now and then? We could all use a few dollars, or better yet, a few hundred or even thousands, to pay off a few bills, go on a vacation, or save a little money.
Or perhaps you, like me, are interested in starting a fulltime freelancing career
There is a way out of the rat race, and you don’t have to quit your day job to start. Virtually everyone is skilled at something. Perhaps you’re good at proofreading other people's work, you can use excel or PowerPoint, fierce at event planning or even make people laugh
If you are web developer, I mean people who know how to use wordpress or webflow, use this hack to get clients. These are often small business owners who just want to scale with digital marketing.
Go to google, type this
"Niche site:*.business.site intex:location
For example:
If I want to target plumbers in Austin, Texas, I will type
Plumbing site:*.business.site intext:Austin
Plumbing is the niche
Austin is the location
If I want to target accountants in Miami, I will type
Accountant site:*.business.site intext:Miami
Businesses with
Business.site do not have a strong website. These are all google-generated websites (mostly provided when they list their business on GMB listing). Do this and you are a click away from landing your dream clients.
