Hey @Ubiquiti,

can you please explain why you are tracking me and collecting my data? The setting is turned off. Note, that I am an E.U. citizen and the #GDPR applies.

• What data are you collecting?

This is our right, granted by #GDPR article 15: gdpr-info.eu/art-15-gdpr/

I am now in the process of filing an official #GDPR request to find out which data is collected by #unifi devices and processed by @Ubiquiti.

As @Ubiquiti refuses to answer about the tracking –built into their #unifi products– in public, I filed an official #GDPR request.

*UPDATE* The refusal of @Ubiquiti to answer why they are tracking customer behavior without explicit consent, made it #1 hot post on their @reddit.

Seems like #privacy matters.
