7 Scientifically Proven Ways To Learn Faster

\\ Thread
Would you like to learn faster?

If you feel learning is hard, it's because you need a better system.

Let me show you my 7-pillar system.

1. . Choose a Lovable Project

It's nearly impossible to learn something you hate.

Stick to what you like.

Choose a specific, manageable, time-constraint project you'd love to complete

Like:
- Design a website
- Write a short guide
- Play a song
2. Break Down the Skill into Smaller Chunks.

Do you want to learn Copywriting?
Learn: research, storytelling, heading writing

What about Web Design?
CSS, HTML, UX, UI Principals, CSS Animations

Can you see how this works?

Learn smaller topics that compose the skill.
3. Study Every Day For At Least 25 min

'Why 25 minutes?'

It's not 30. It's not 60.

It makes it easier to build the habit and stay motivated.
4. Practice! Because You Can.

You already have a loveable project.

Now practice. Make it a reality.

See, the project *is* your practice.

You'll stay motivated because you'll get great feedback in real-time.
5. Pay Attention to Your body and Thoughts

Do you feel stress & anxiety creeping up?

This means you're way above your league.

Therefore, try something easier.

This will keep your emotions leveled.
6. Set Fast Feedback Loops

You need to know you are doing it correctly.

"How?, Jose"

Ask on Twitter, Google it, visit some forums, join a couple of Facebook groups, or hire a coach.

It's important that you know that you're doing it ok.
7. Don't Strive for Perfection, Strive for Creation

The most important thing is practice.

The quality of the practice will get better with the pass of time.

Daily practice is the goal.

Stop seeking perfection.

Remember, you're learning.

It's normal to suck at first.

4 reasons why people fail.

And how to avoid these pitfalls.

\\ Thread
1. Comparing yourself with others

Most people compare themself with others coming from a place of envy.

Don't do this.

If you're going to compare with someone, make it about figuring out what you can learn from them.
2. They rely on motivation

Motivation is a hoax.

You don't need motivation to get things done, because motivation arrives *when* you take action.

Do the hard work even if you don't feel like it.
