5 keys to building a successful online business

// thread
1. Love what you do

If it's not a "hell yes," don't get into it.

Like everything in life, things will not always go your way.

When you love something, you can withstand more pain.
2. Understand the market

Find their needs
Find their problems
Find their common belief
Find their common misconceptions

Then deliver miracles for them through your products and services.
3. Always be selling

The best product is the one that's known.

Let everyone know what you do.

If you don't, you'll never get clients.
4. Scaling it hard – systemize first

Analyze your systems.

Document them.

Polish them.

Automate the boring parts.

Delegate what can't be automated.

It'll make scaling your biz simpler.
5. Your biz should never be more important than your health

You need to perform at your best every day.

If you're ill, you won't be able to pull this off

Lift heavy
Eat clean
Get sunlight
Drink water
Eat high protein meal

Health translates to productivity and high-performance

4 reasons why people fail.

And how to avoid these pitfalls.

\\ Thread
1. Comparing yourself with others

Most people compare themself with others coming from a place of envy.

Don't do this.

If you're going to compare with someone, make it about figuring out what you can learn from them.
2. They rely on motivation

Motivation is a hoax.

You don't need motivation to get things done, because motivation arrives *when* you take action.

Do the hard work even if you don't feel like it.

Watch how quickly you'll get motivated to keep going.

5 methods to kill anxiety

// Thread
1. Watch a comedy

When you're anxious, your brain actually thinks that you're in danger.

Laughing tricks your brain into believing there "threat" is gone.

When I'm feeling anxious, I search for funny content.

Bill Burr is my anxiety pill.
2. Run away from the place where the anxiety got triggered

I was jogging when I felt the anxiety creeping in

I usually experience it on my chest

I pulled a u-turn, ran back to the car, and the anxiety vanished

Your brain feels like you're running away from the threat

Try it

I used to be the lanky guy who hide behind good clothing and his eyeglasses (some will understand).

6' 2"
160lbs

Not good.

I always marveled at how others were able to find motivation to go to the gym.

But I couldn't figure it out... until recently.

/Thread/ ImageImage
When I was a teenager, I went to the the gym for 3 months.

I hated how painful it was to walk the next day after leg day. I hated the pain in my joints

I quit 3 months after because I couldn't find motivation in that pain.
In my early twenties, I grinded.

I was gain weight.

I got to 210 lbs – mostly of fat.

Even though I was going to the gym, I felt like crap because I was eating the wrong things.

I was getting big and strong but at the expense of my health. Image

My wife's grandmother had a heart attack years ago

We took a 3-hour drive to visit her at the hospital.

I had a 9-5 job then.

At 12 pm my boss called me. He said, "When are you coming back? I'm sorry, but it wasn't your grandma who had the stroke."

That was my breaking point
I'll never forget my wife's face in disbelief when I told her I had to go back to work.

She was with her mom when I broke the news. Both of them looked at me with disappointment.
We had taken a 3 hour drive to the hospital.

And now, I had to take a 3 hour drive back to work just to put in 2 hours of work for that day.

I should've just shammed my boss into submission. But I didn't because I really needed the job and the money.
