As Promised, there are 5 skills that every Employer is looking for in job candidates, they are as equally important as qualifications and work experience if not more. Unlike qualifications and experience they take personal interest in self development.
Critical thinking/Problem solving is necessary for almost every job. Employees need to be able to analyze evidence, question assumptions, test hypotheses, observe and draw conclusions from any form of data.
Critical thinking is not just a skill, but a habit formed to help with problem-solving.

Although critical thinking can be taught, it needs to be applied in the real-world experiences so you can make a habit of using critical thinking in your daily life.
Critical thinking skills are the top priority for an employer to hire someone. Although critical thinking skills are what employers desire and find most essential, the average employer thinks recent graduates are only “somewhat proficient” in critical thinking skills.

TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION Teamwork is necessary for jobs all across the spectrum. From construction work to marketing, nursing to acting, teamwork and collaboration is a vital part to keeping the organization or company running smoothly.
By interacting and collaborating with your colleagues, the organization or company will have growth and success. Everyone has a different skill set they bring to the table. By interacting with your co-workers, you may reach a better conclusion or idea than you would on your own.
When arriving at your new career with quality teamwork skills already in your pocket, you can be a step ahead of the competition. Although critical thinking skills were something many employers thought graduates could improve on, teamwork and collaboration impress employers also.
Teamwork and collaboration promote unity in the workplace, teamwork can provide improved productivity, it promotes work synergy, and can provide new learning opportunities.
Please work on this skill it's very important to demonstrate it as one of your strengths in an interview.
ORAL & WRITTEN COMMUNICATION You demonstrate these in your CV and Interview. In this technological day and age, shooting a quick text to your friends or family may not include proper grammar, which in turn, can result in a decline in your written or oral communication skills.
Another way your communication skills may decline is by the lack of face-to-face conversation. While being proficient in digital technology is necessary for many careers, technology should not be used as the only means of communication. Listening and giving feedback is important.
PROFESSIONALISM
There is one thing every employer has in common: they want their employees to have a strong work ethic and be professional. No matter what job or career you find yourself in after graduation, your employer will expect you to have a strong professionalism
In the Employer Career Competencies survey, all employers rated “Professionalism/Work Ethic” as 100% essential, but stated that only 42.5% of employees exhibit these behaviors.
If you have this you stand a great chance.
LEADERSHIP
By combining critical thinking, teamwork, professionalism and work ethic, and communication skills, you can become a great leader in your workplace.
These are the Top 5 skills you need to stand good chance in getting a job you've always wanted.

Tips on how to develop these skills will follow.

You are what you believe to be.
Let's go through what a belief is/not A belief is the thought behind the thought.
A belief is not something simply said with confidence, although that is part of it. (A
Thread)
A belief is not something you commit to do, albeit it helps. A belief is what your inner emotion is telling you. A belief is the inner, unswayable knowledge of what you know to be true. It’s that constant, ever-present conversation that is going on in your head.
Here is the problem. You are constantly lying to yourself through your words and thoughts, and
sometimes you even temporarily persuade yourself, but it doesn’t last for long.

Have you ever heard the phrase 'climbing the corporate ladder?' Obviously, corporations aren't overrun with actual ladders. This phrase is a metaphor for how employees can rise through the ranks of a company, rung by metaphorical rung.
Although the structure of 'corporate ladders' can be different for many organizations, they usually all have common rungs among them. If you are interested in being a leader in a company someday, it is important you understand the ladder and how it is made up.
Corporate ladder' is a term used to describe the hierarchy of a company's organizational structure. The concept reflects the levels that must be climbed to get to the top of the organization.

If you're selfish you're not ready to be in a relationship yet. This is why.

*Mini thread*
A relationship requires you to give and take from your partner. Of course, we’re all ready to take, but are we ready to give?
When we’re stuck in our selfish ways, giving can feel like a burden at times. Catering to our own needs feels way more important than someone else’s.

Do you really need a cover letter when you apply for jobs? You might wonder whether you can get by with just a CV, particularly if the company doesn't specifically request or require a cover letter.
How to write it if a company requires it.

(THREAD)
@REV_GIFT
It's only natural to wonder if a cover letter is necessary. After all, writing cover letters can be a time-consuming and challenging task. If there's an option to skip the labor involved in writing one, it's tempting. It can also be a highrisk not to write it though.
In most cases, and particularly when the overall job market or your specific industry is competitive, a cover letter will help your candidacy. Done right, your letter will highlight your most relevant skills and qualifications for the job, making you stand out than the rest.

As promised, tips on getting your CV pass the ATS (Applicant tracking system) to the hiring manager.

(Thread)
Applicant tracking systems are software that automate the hiring process. They screen resumes and candidates automatically, making the assessment of new candidates faster and more efficient.
That means scanning resumes for important keywords and qualifications.
The general goal of ATS is to narrow the applicant pool so that hiring managers can meet the "best" applicants based on a predetermined set of criteria.
