@Hadithoftheday There are four angels mentioned by name in Surah Baqarah. They are:
1. Jibrael A.S ( Surah Baqarah : verse 97-98)
2. Mikael A.S (Surah Baqarah : verse 98)
3. Harut A.S ( Surah Baqarah: verse 102)
4. Marut A.S ( Surah Baqarah: verse 102)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:

"Say, Whoever is an enemy to "Gabriel' - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah, confirming that which was before it & as guidance and good tidings for the believers"
(Al-Baqara 2: Verse 97)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:

"Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and "Gabriel" and "Michael" - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers."
(Al-Baqara 2: Verse 98)
@Hadithoftheday Regarding Harut & Marut, Allah says:
"And they followed instead what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic & that was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut & Marut (2:102)
@Hadithoftheday Angels are made from Nūr.
Nur, is the term for the light from which the angels were created. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘The angels are created from light, just as the jinn are created from smokeless fire & mankind is created from what you have been told about.’" [Muslim]
@Hadithoftheday Angels were created before mankind for certain, as Allah says in the Qur'an:
"Behold, your Lord said to the angels: ‘I will create a vicegerent on earth.’" [2:30].
The fact that Allah told them of His intention to create man indicates that they already existed
@Hadithoftheday The greatest of all the angels is Jibreel A.S, who was described in the following report:
When Prophet ﷺ saw Jibreel in his true form. He had six hundred wings, each of which covered the horizon. There fell from his wings jewels, pearls and rubies, only Allah knows about them.
@Hadithoftheday The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, describing Jibreel A.S:
"I saw Jibreel descending from heaven, and his great size filled the space between heaven and earth." [Muslim].
@Hadithoftheday Among the greatest angels are those who carry the Throne of Allah.Prophet ﷺ said:I have been given permission to speak about one of the angels of Allah who carry the Throne.The distance between his ear-lobes & his shoulders is equivalent to a seven-hundred-year journey (Dawood)
@Hadithoftheday Angels contain wings
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels messengers with wings - two, or three, or four (pairs) adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things." [35:1]
@Hadithoftheday The angels are not all of one size or status, there are differences between them just as there are differences in virtue. The best of them are those that were present at the battle of Badr.
@Hadithoftheday Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, ‘How do you rate the people among you who were present at Badr?’ He said: ‘They are the best of the Muslims,’ or something similar. Jibreel A.S said: ‘So it is with the angels who were present at Badr.’" [al-Bukhaari].
@Hadithoftheday Angels do not get bored or tired of remembering & worshipping Allah
Allah says in Qur'an:
"They celebrate His praises night and day, nor do they ever slacken."[21:20]
For in the presence of your Lord are those who celebrate His praises by night & by day, they never become tired
@Hadithoftheday The angels have names, but only the names of a few of them are known as reported in the Quran and Sunnah (prophetic teachings) texts.
Some of them are :
1.Jibrael.
2.Mikail.
3.Israfil.
4.Malik.
5.Munkar and 6.Nakeer
7.Haroot and 8.Maroot
@Hadithoftheday The Task of Jibreel A.S was to convey the revelation from Allah to His Messengers. Allah says in Qur'an:

"Say: whoever is an enemy to Jibreel - for he brings down the (revelation) to your heart by Allah’s will. . . " [2:97]

Jibreel A.S is also called as Rooh-ul-Ameen
@Hadithoftheday Mikail A.S is responsible for rain, directing it wherever Allah wishes. has Mikail A.S has helpers, who do what he tells them, by the command of his Lord; they direct the winds and clouds, as Allah wills.
@Hadithoftheday Israfil A.S is responsible for blowing the Trumpet, which will be blown by Israfil A.S at the onset of the Hour (the Day of Judgement).
@Hadithoftheday Nakeer and Munkar :
The task of munkar and nakeer is to question the deceased in the grave.
The questions which these angels put to the deceased in his grave are: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is this man who was sent among you?

@Hadithoftheday Bani Israel refused to fight in Allah's cause (Jihad).
Allah says in Qur'an:

"Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."
(Qur'an: Al-Maaida 5: Verse 26)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:
"Musa said, O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."
(QS. Al-Maaida 5: Verse 21)
@Hadithoftheday "They said, O Musa, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."

Hind Bint Utbah:
Hind was the wife of Abu Sufyan.
Her father and many members of her family were killed in Battle of Badr. So Hind's anger at muslims was intense and greatest. Wahshi martyred Hamza R.A on her orders.
Later on she accepted Islam.
Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib R.A was one of the finest huntsmen and greatest warrior of the Arabs. In the battle of Badr, he had killed many of the Qurayshi nobles. One of the Qurayshi nobles had a black slave called Wahshi from Abyssinia who could use the javelin with great skill.
Hind, the wife of Abu Sufyan, promised Wahshi freedom and his master Jubayr bin Mut’im also promised him the same as Hamza R.A had killed his uncle in Badr. Wahshi prowled amongst the fighters until he saw Hamza. He says, “I held my spear and balanced it well, then I aimed it.

@Hadithoftheday Sayyidah Aisha R.A.

When Umar ibn Al-Khattab R.A, the second caliph, passed away, Aisha R.A gave permission for him to be buried next to his two companions. He was buried behind her father
@Hadithoftheday Aisha R.A had actually reserved that space for herself, for she wished to be buried next to her husband. However, the love that the Prophet ﷺ bore for Umar R.A caused her to honour Umar R.A by sacrificing her beloved burial ground for him.
@Hadithoftheday When Umar R.A was on his death bed, he asked his son Abdullah R.A to beg Aisha R.A's permission for his burial by the side of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr R.A. Aisha RA wept as she came to know that Umar R.A was on his deathbed. +

@Hadithoftheday Salamun Alaykum.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say Salaamun ‘Alaykum (Peace be upon you)
(Qur'an : Az-Zumar 39: Verse 73)
@Hadithoftheday Greeting of the believers will continue to be Salaam even after they enter Paradise.
Allah says in Qur'an:

“Their greeting therein will be: Salaam (peace!)” -[Ibraaheem 14:23]
@Hadithoftheday Allah further says in Qur'an:

“And angels shall enter unto them from every gate (saying):

‘Salaamun ‘Alaikum (peace be upon you) for you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!’”
- [ar-Ra‘d 13:23, 24].

@Hadithoftheday Part of his Rib.
Allah created Adam, and from him He created his wife.
Allah says in Qur'an:

“O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him, He created his wife, and from them both He created many men and women”

[al-Nisaa’ 4:1]
@Hadithoftheday In Ibn Abbas’ narrations, Adam A.S fell asleep in Paradise & when he woke, he found a woman, whom Allah had created from his rib, sitting beside his head.

It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. (Qur’an 7:189)
@Hadithoftheday Adam A.S was created from clay & Hawwa A.S (Eve) was created from the Rib of Adam A.S.
Allah says in Quran:

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. (Quran 15:28)
