“Is it cancel culture when conservatives try to get college professors disciplined for anti-Americanism, or critics of Israel de-platformed for antisemitism?” asked Ross Douthat (New York Times, 10/14/20). “Sure, in a sense.”
"Accusing your enemy of doing what you’re doing—in this case, right-wing organizations canceling left-wing academics, and then claiming liberals are perpetrating cancel culture—is a form of deflection that riles the right-wing base against intellectuals, but also sends the ....
... coded message that the Republican Party will do what it can to silence left-wing critics."
Q: Where is this so-called “intellectual diversity” within mainstream conservatism?
Why do they have hand-picked surrogates for the media and universities (preferred representatives)? Why do they CANCEL out CONSERVATIVE views that don't compliment their political narratives?
It's an abuse of academia!
How to fix it? Inclusion.
Right-wing money empowers individuals that compliment a particular narrative. So, my solution: Find the rare
libertarian and conservative individuals (impeccable credentials) who intellectually
challenge those views.
White Nationalist aren't for "intellectual diversity" -- they're for conformity!
When the facts don't compliment White Supremacist's delusions; White Supremacist (with money) use government, Professors, and claims of discrimination (We want "intellectual diversity") to push ..
... an alt-right alternative reality that gives the impression, that their claims have some validity.
They do not.
Universities and the media must show the diversity within conservatism. If you don't, you're only sanctioning ONE strain of conservatism.
And, that's not fair.
Here's an example of what on talking about
A libertarian who disagrees with Heather Mcdonald on the war on cops.
"There Is No War on Cops"
"A new book from a prominent right-wing commentator fails to make the case."
Sometimes, there are huge differences in movements that sound, even look the same.. But, dig long enough and you will discover that there are differences --- para-paradigms within a paradigm.

Stop this madness!
Stop being lazy. Academia (and the media) must vet and thoroughly engage the people they invite to speak at the University. How can their not be one University that never had a panel on "Conservative Intellectuals Against Trumpism"?
How?
stop empowering hand-picked surrogate
In the words of Brotha Malcolm ...
"Oh, I say and I say it again, ya been had! Ya been took!
Ya been hoodwinked! Bamboozled!"
If they're demanding intellectual diversity -- you fucking give it to them.
But, you can't be lazy.
There are many conservatives who don't agree with Ann Coulter or The Bigot from Bombay, and can make good conservative argument as to why.
You need to empower them.
Give 'em what they ask for.
White Supremacy is a beast at canceling people's culture!
Don't let the monster fool you.
The monster that is white supremacy is going to work you -- she's a very clever devil ...
Know the monster; and, then, you can work the monster.
Don't just keep responding to the monster, make the monster respond to you.
How many cultures have white supremacy and colonialism CANCELD and wiped out?
Let's start with the Taino of Puerto Rico, and then we can talk about King Leopold and The Congo 🇨🇩.
"The Taíno impressed Columbus with their generosity, which may have contributed to their undoing. “They will give all that ..
..they do possess for anything that is given to them, exchanging things even for bits of broken crockery,” he noted upon meeting them in the Bahamas in 1492. “They were very well built, and very good faces....They do not carry arms or know them....They should be good servants."
“In 1964, Sir Sidney Poitier became the first black actor to win an Academy Award for Best Actor, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role in Lilies of the Field.”
Black Conservatism is similar, but, also different from other Western strains of European and American conservatism!
If Burkean conservatism is a response to the French Revolution; African or Black conservatism, emerges out of, and in response to the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
Black Conservatism is NOT White Conservatism
"Authentic black conservatism has always had the fundamental and explicit goal of opposing white supremacy."
The LARGEST long-distance, coerced migration in human history — The Atlantic slave trade is the backdrop, for the dissimilar attitudes, values, unique differences, between, Anglo conservatism, and what is referred to as African or "black conservatism".
Maurice was born in AD 250 in Thebes, an ancient city in Egypt near the site of the Aswan Dam. He was brought up [specifically] in the region of Luxor—Egypt, and eventually would became a soldier in the Roman army.
"There have also been three North African popes: Victor I, Melchaides (also a martyr), and Gelasius I.The vast majority of these Patristic-era figures resided in North Africa, where Christian communities thrived until the Muslim conquests of the region."
"Africa has the world’s third largest Catholic population, after the Americas and Europe. Nearly 1 out of every 5 Africans – 19.2% – is Catholic. The Pew Research Center expects the number of African Christians south of the Sahara, including Catholics, to double by 2050."
He sent "spies" to the pharaoh of Kush disguised ...
... disguised as messengers bearing gifts. However, the Kushite pharaoh, as Herodotus explains, realized that the Persian messengers were spies." The king mocked Cambyses' gifts in front of the messengers and sent them back with a bow.
The messengers were instructed to deliver the following message to Cambyses: "when the Persians draw their bows (of equal size as mine) as easily as I do this, then ...
