In Monterey County the voters elected a criminal to be top cop.

Gil Onions and other massive, money making ventures. Dave Gil's son murdered someone in South County, all real hush-hush and all, being it's a local rich guy - and they kept the kid out of prison.

So you can understand what having the Sheriff in your back pocket means to

them. Steve Bernal was also supported by the two big shots on #CanneryRow. Ted Balestreri and Burt Cutino.

Those two and their names have long been mentioned in many a whisper campaign about narcos, money laundering and organized crime.

So Bernal isn't batting 100 here.

In a phone interview Friday, Lindley called Schneider’s assertions “complete and utter bullshit” but acknowledged that Bernal has used the guest house on several occasions, most recently about three months ago.

1. Dan Green - KSBW's main anchor for decades, set up a business named OMG Media. It does public relations for @SVMHS - which is the entity that bogusly played the role of "fiscal agent" for the non-profit Partners for Peace.

2. Amy Larson was a reporter for KSBW. She cozied up to a lot of sources and flew to Costa Rica to hang out with a 2014 defeated sheriff Scott Miller.

Larson was fired from KSBW, according to well placed sources, and got a job via @Kelly_McMillin at @IndusCannabis

Larson left that job, telling @mcweekly editor @maryrduan that the place was "very dark" and "shady".

Larson was then interviewed by two agents with the @FBI Oakland office.
