Ombudsman report has faulted former MEC Chairperson Jane Ansah and former Attorney General Kalekeni Kaphale in the manner they procured the service of South African lawyers to represented it in the Presidential Election Case.
The Ombudsman has also faulted how government through then Chief Secretary Lloyd Muhara illegally appointed lawyer Madalitso Mmeta as Board Chairperson of Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets (PPDA) who in turn bulldozed the contract of the lawyers.
The Ombudsman has consequently ordered Ansah and Kaphale to refund each K3 million which the Commission spent on the lawyers when they were in the country.

Muhara should be fired as a judge for gross incompetence.

Former Attorney General and Jane Ansah should each refund K3 million that was spent on the foreign lawyers.

Our impeccable sources indicate that the following Principal Secretaries have been affected; secretary for Labour, Dickson Chunga, secretary for Lands, Benard Sande, secretary for Transport Patrick Ndipita and secretary for Education, Chikondano Mussa.
Efforts to get a confirmation from each of the PSs proved futile as they all did not respond to our questionnaire and phone calls.
