@Hadithoftheday Ayoub A.S.
Narrated Abi Hurayrah R.A, The Prophet ﷺ said, "Once while Ayoub A.S was taking a bath in a naked state. Suddenly a great number of gold locusts started falling upon him and he started collecting them in his clothes.+
@Hadithoftheday His Lord called him, 'O Ayoub! Didn't I make you rich enough to dispense with what you see now? ' Ayoub A.S said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings.' ( Sahih Bukhari - 7493)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Ayoub A.S was a man who lost everything - his children, wealth and his health, but he never lost his faith on Allah.
Ayoub A.S was a patient man. His patience was Exampelary.
@Hadithoftheday Allah had granted Ayoub A.S great wealth in the form of lands, herds and servants, and he had a devoted family. With all that, he was a humble man of great piety, constantly glorifying and devoutly thanking his Lord.
Allah then tested him with a series of calamities. +
@Hadithoftheday Allah first tested Ayyub A.S by suddenly stripping away all his wealth and property. But Ayyub A.S remained firm and constant, not shattered or even shaken by this disaster, and continued to glorify his Lord.+
@Hadithoftheday Allah then took the lives of Ayyub A.S's many children. This too did not change him, and he continued to be steadfast in service and devotion to his Lord. Ayyub A.S was a patient man. His patience is exampelary.
@Hadithoftheday Allah then took away his health, afflicting him with terrible pain and suffering, and such loathsome ailments that people shunned him. Still Ayyub A.S's faith and serenity remained undisturbed, for his heart was with Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Ayyub A.S's disease lasted so long that his companions left him and visitors were disgusted by him. They expelled him from his city and threw him onto a refuse heap outside the city, and people abandoned him and boycotted him. No one remained sympathetic to him except his wife.
@Hadithoftheday Wife of Ayoub A.S would care for him and always recall his earlier good treatment of her and his love of her.
Ibn kathir Narrates:
“So she nursed him and looked after his welfare and helped him to fulfil his needs and stood by him.
@Hadithoftheday His condition deteriorated and her money decreased to the point at which she served people for wages to feed him and provide for his other needs, may Allah be pleased with her, and she was very patient with all that occurred as their wealth and children were taken away from them
@Hadithoftheday In addition to the calamity of her husband, she suffered from lack of means, and was obliged to serve people after having had wealth and happiness and servants and honour.
@Hadithoftheday Ayyub A.S remained in his trial for many years.
Some claim his illness lasted three years, others claim seven years, and others claim eighteen years but Allah knows best.
@Hadithoftheday One day, Allah removed his affliction from him & he was as sound as he had been previously. When his wife saw him she said, “May Allah bless you, have you seen the prophet of Allah who was ill here?
& by Allah,I have not seen a man more similar to him when he was healthy than you
@Hadithoftheday Ayyub A.S said, “Indeed, I am he!”.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. (Qur’an 38:44)
@Hadithoftheday In his suffering and loneliness, Ayyub A.S cried to Allah, saying,
"Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful." (Qur’an 21:83)
@Hadithoftheday Allah accepted his prayer and removed his affliction.
Ayyub A.S's contains vital and precious lessons for mankind: Patience, steadfastness, etc
May Allah’s best blessings and peace be upon this patient prophet Ayoub A.S.

@Hadithoftheday Isa Ibn Maryam A.S (Jesus)
Isa A.S was raised by Maryam A.S.
Isa A.S had no father.
Maryam A.S’s high standing with Allah is well-known - she has an entire Surah named after her in the Qur’an - Surah Maryam.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
"And mention when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]." (3:45)
@Hadithoftheday There are few titles of Isa A.S as given in the Qur’an:
They are : 1. Al-Masih 2. Ruh 3. Abdullah 4. Mubarak 5. Ayah 6. Rahmah 7. Kalimah 8. Wajeeh 9. Ul-ul-’Azm 10. Ibn Maryam
@Hadithoftheday Bani Israel.
Bani Israel was the most impertinent, cowardly and troublesome race. That is why prophet after prophet was sent to their communities, to rectify their disbelieving ways.
@Hadithoftheday Some of the Prophets from Bani Israel were: 1. Yaqoob A.S 2. Yusuf A.S 3. Musa A.S 4. Dawood A.S 5. Sulayman A.S 6. Isa A.S.
The Banu Israel are mentioned so often in the Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday The Banu Israel are called by this name because Israel was another name for Yaqub A.S,& from his twelve children came the twelve tribes that constituted Banu Israel. After Yusuf A.S became the minister of Egypt, they migrated there.
“A Man of Evident Splendor” – Description of The Prophet ﷺ by Umm Ma’bad, :
Her name was 'Aatikah bint Khaalid' & 'Umm Ma’bad' was her nick name.Her name is connected to one of the greatest event in the Prophet ﷺ’s life, the Hijrah from Makkah to Madeenah
She was a famous, chaste, strong and courageous woman and had a camp in "Qudayd". She would sit down in the courtyard of her camp wrapped-up in her garment, generously providing food and drink to the travelers who passed by.
During the hijrah of the Prophet ﷺ, he stopped by her tent with his companions for some rest and food.
“It was narrated that the Messenger ﷺ, his servant, a guide and Abu Bakr R.A left Mecca, passing a tent of an elderly lady called Umm Ma’bad.
@Hadithoftheday Bani Israel refused to fight in Allah's cause (Jihad).
Allah says in Qur'an:
"Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."
(Qur'an: Al-Maaida 5: Verse 26)
@Hadithoftheday Allah Says in Qur'an:
"Musa said, O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."
(QS. Al-Maaida 5: Verse 21)
@Hadithoftheday "They said, O Musa, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."
(Qur'an: Al-Maaida 5: Verse 22)
"Say, Whoever is an enemy to "Gabriel' - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah, confirming that which was before it & as guidance and good tidings for the believers"
(Al-Baqara 2: Verse 97)
"Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and "Gabriel" and "Michael" - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers."
(Al-Baqara 2: Verse 98)

Hind Bint Utbah:
Hind was the wife of Abu Sufyan.
Her father and many members of her family were killed in Battle of Badr. So Hind's anger at muslims was intense and greatest. Wahshi martyred Hamza R.A on her orders.
Later on she accepted Islam.
Hamza ibn Abdul Muttalib R.A was one of the finest huntsmen and greatest warrior of the Arabs. In the battle of Badr, he had killed many of the Qurayshi nobles. One of the Qurayshi nobles had a black slave called Wahshi from Abyssinia who could use the javelin with great skill.
Hind, the wife of Abu Sufyan, promised Wahshi freedom and his master Jubayr bin Mut’im also promised him the same as Hamza R.A had killed his uncle in Badr. Wahshi prowled amongst the fighters until he saw Hamza. He says, “I held my spear and balanced it well, then I aimed it.
