This is one of those danger throws that Mac Jones will attempt. Here it works out but highlights his accuracy as a passer. Rifles that ball into the WRs stomach. #NFL #NFLDraft #KroenickFilm

Notice the ball placement by Jones, this is very important. He drops this ball closer to the sideline and out in front of his WR, getting the separation needed for 6! Accuracy and tough is top notch! #NFLDraft #NFL #KroenickFilm

Then there’s throws like this. It’s a clean pocket, nobody obstructs the pass but Mac Jones “Mcnabbs” it at the sideline. His arm strength isn’t bad so idk why he struggled to put something extra on this. #NFL #NFLDraft #KroenickFilm

There’s 2 reasons why this is such a great play.

Mac Jones stands tall knowing pressure is coming and fires this ball deep leading Waddle inside for extra separation.

Secondly, Waddle is a speed demon and is a matchup nightmare without help over the top! #NFL #KroenickFilm

Another perfect deep ball on the Go Route from Mac Jones. The WR doesn’t have to slow for the ball but instead is lead upfield. Fantastic ball placement and touch from Jones. Better than Lance in this regard. #NFL #NFLDraft #WashingtonFootball #KroenickFilm

I’ve even said Mac Jones is good because of his weapons. Here he drops the ball in the perfect spot over the defender so his TE is the only one able to catch it. #NFL #NFLDraft #KroenickFilm

All in all, I’m impressed with Mac Jones film. He’s very accurate and smart but will need WRs who win their matchups plus an Oline that can pass block up the middle well.

Still don’t think #WashingtonFootball would be a good fit.
