📢📢📢Gov Abbott has issued a new EO lifting the mask mandate and businesses to 100%.

This will be TX EO #33 which is not as yet on the Governor's website.

Latest EO on Gov Abbott's website is #32 from Oct 2020.
The caveats of the new EO will be:
📢🛑🥰Official new Gov Abbott EO lifting shutdowns and dropping TX mask mandate.

Businesses MAY require face masks or distancing measures AND .... you can choose to patronize them ... OR NOT.

🌨️🥶❄️🌡️ Been reading a lot of purely ignorant responses to TX tweets on power outages, etc.

1. Homes ARE insulated.

2. We DO drip & even small stream the water pipes. We do cover outdoor faucets w/ insulated covers.
Can't drip or small stream the water pipes when the water is shut off because equipment @ treatment plants freezes or due to numerous water main breaks.

3. When one loses whole house heat & temp is below 20 degrees w/wind chill is 0 to -20 degrees ... EVERYTHING...
EVERYTHING FREEZES... pipes, hot water tanks, stored water & food

People DO shut off water supply to homes. Unfortunately by the time problem is known, even that is often not done soon enough. Chit happens!

Winter Storm Watch 3" - 8" of snow is currently forecast with blowing and lake effect snow plus wintry mix.

NOTE: anticipating ANOTHER Winter Storm midweek and no reprieve from cold temps until late next week.

Roads - icy for a week!
Current forecast discussion - subject to change of course.
Icy roads are here to stay well into next week.

1. Why do vaxxed people need to wait 4 weeks to get tested for TB?

2. Vaxes do not prevent Covid but MAY mitigate severity if contracted. Yet, vaxed no longer need to quarantine >2 wks after vax.
