Folks, there are certain Members of Congress doing things that are of true public service. @RepZoeLofgren is such a member. This is something that has flown under the radar, but is extremely important for our democracy. It has to do with the #14thAmendment. 🧵👇🏻
The 14th amendment is the one that basically says, if you engaged in insurrection, you can’t hold public office.

@RepZoeLofgren has released this doc.

housedocs.house.gov/lofgren/Social…

Please read it or just follow along in the thread below. (But read it, to form your own conclusions)
The document outlines 121 Members of Congress social media posts. It shows their name, district, state, committees they sit on (ie armed services, intelligence 👀) and social media posts they sent before, during, and after the Insurrection. I place them into one of 4 categories:
1. THE TOE DIPPERS

These Reps do just the bare minimum to partake in online rumor mongering. Just a quick reference to ‘election irregularities’, then nothing more. They can still say they helped, but they did the least required amount to do so. But they did still do so...
These would be the Reps I would want to question first. Were they aware of message coordination, any message expectations, were they asked to follow certain talking points, were they given a choice as to whether or not they were willing to participate further? If so, by whom?
If there are any deals to be made for leniency, to save careers, images, etc, it may be from this group. Not quite willing to get any wetter than their toes, but perhaps willing enough to maybe think about upholding their oaths with the benefit of hindsight.

Then, there are...
2. THE BIG LIARS

These were the Reps who not only made mention of election irregularities, they were screaming fraud. These Reps were using their social media posts day after day, echoing each other’s messages. These were the ones who spread the Big Lie of a stolen election.
They signed onto lawsuits without evidence, they sent letters to AG Barr, they tweeted and retweeted the same talking points, the same flyers and memes, using the same language post to post. There were even ‘Russia Hoax’ (📌1) mentions in these posts. These reps fall into...
3. THE DISINFORMATION CAUCUS

These weren’t just lies about the election being stolen. There was disinformation and propaganda being spread too. Those in the Disinformation Caucus comprise all the Big Liars, but expand upon it further.
The Disinformation Caucus include those members of Congress that used their social media posts to purposefully disseminate misleading disingenuous arguments that still seek to create a false equivalency between the insurrection and the George Floyd summer protests.
They tried to say that Antifa and BLM were behind the insurrection. They tried to draw a false equivalency to insurrection in an effort to ‘both sides’ this into normalcy.
The Disinformation Caucus also continued to sing from the same hymnals in their social media gripes about created boogeymen, suggesting ‘Nancy did it too’, ‘Big Tech’, ‘USPS’ as well as blaming Antifa and BLM.
But what is strange, is that not all of the Republicans sang the same song though. The Freedom Caucus (📌2) for instance are the group pushing the ‘blame Antifa/BLM’ (the second big lie) message. This message has also been echoed by Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley too.
It really looks like not only is a pattern emerging, but there is coordination to all of this. What’s another word for coordination? Collusion. Yea, that works. Oh...Conspiracy! Yea! Conspiracy. That’s the word. Thanks. Conspiracy. So who conspired...?
4. THE DISINFORMATION CAPOS

These are the Reps who have the most to fear in relation to the 14th amendment and much, much worse. If the messages were handed off to certain Republicans for certain ‘airwaves’, these were the ones giving the marching orders. Which means what?
It means these were the Reps in on the planning and dissemination of disinformation. They had to be working in concert with the highest levels of the trump campaign coordinating which message, on whose social media, when etc.
In the @RepZoeLofgren document, there is mention of news outlets that would have the Disinformation Caucus on their air, allow them to spread the Big Lies. There is even a reference to Dan Bongino calling for ‘biggest political rally in modern history’ as early as November 5th. Image
The Disinformation Capos were also actively using ‘Stop the Steal’ rhetoric. These are the most vulnerable to the 14th amendment. It could be reasonably argued, everyone named in the @RepZoeLofgren document was engaging in Insurrection, but the Disinformation Capos are shooins.
Some of these Disinformation Capos were present at the rally just prior to the Insurrection. People like Mo Brooks from Alabama (see below).
📌2. I put a pin in the Freedom Caucus to return to it now because it is very important. The Freedom Caucus is chaired by Arizona’s Andy Biggs. AZ was the 1st State objected to on Jan 6th. It was members of the Freedom Caucus who promoted the ‘It was Antifa and BLM’ lie. And...
The Freedom Caucus for all intents and purposes grew out of the Tea Party. The mother of the Tea Party hosted the rally at the Ellipse the day of the insurrection. You can read a lot more about that (and one Senator Rand Paul) here 👇🏻👀👇🏻
You guys, an Insurrection is the attempt to overthrow our government. That is what it is. It is a means to end democracy. That is just a fact. There are currently 121 Members of Congress that fit into all or some of the 4 categories outlined above.
There are others still in the US Senate. And others still unknown to us. We can speculate and wonder if there are any TV hosts or outlets willing to provide air time to broadcast propaganda to millions...
We can wonder if any administration officials, campaign staffers, former presidents, former presidents family members, were involved. Did they direct any of this activity?

📌1. Where did they get the message that Russian election interference was a ‘Hoax’?
@RepZoeLofgren gives us quite a road map to the 14th Amendment here to expel these members. The only way to know where it leads is to follow it.

I reviewed the @RepZoeLofgren document that outlines the 14th Amendment and shows 121 Members of Congress who shared social media posts about the election in the lead up to the Insurrection. The below is a deeper look by the numbers.
I have been following our government since trump descended the escalator and mentioned ‘rapists’ in his presidential candidacy launch speech. After watching hearings and reading transcripts for years, one begins to recognize certain issues and message pushing narratives.
One may get to a point where their unconscious bias may take over and I didn’t want to reach that point when I reviewed this @RepZoeLofgren 14th Amendment Document. I was sure I could name those who were on it and those I think need to be expelled, but I wanted to remove my bias.

On January 6th, 2021 the United States endured a deadly insurrection upon its Capitol, unleashed by its president. Insurrectionists are being arrested and charged, but what about those responsible for planning and producing the days activities? 🧵👇🏻
Settle in folks, this is going to be a morning coffee kind of thread. Here we go...

Prior to Insurrectionists entering the Senate chamber, there was a ‘rally’ at the Ellipse 📌1(put a pin in that). The rally had logos displaying My Pillow and Women For America First PAC.
This is a logical place to start if you’re wondering who paid for or who put this production together. We now know that the My Pillow guy is being sued for $1.3b for spreading lies about the election software used to count votes. Here is that lawsuit.

Let’s take a wee look at trump’s inauguration fund shall we? You may have recently heard Jr and Ivanka have been deposed. But this could go way further than the kids. 🧵👇🏻

This started in December of 2018. Two things that stick out to me in the above article is the information came from Michael Cohen just prior to his imprisonment, and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. You remember her...she was friends with Melania.

Here is the thing about the Tucker Carlson types. It is easy to simply dismiss something due to ‘lack of evidence’. This is a semantics tool. ‘Evidence’ is something that can be used in court of law. Tucker argues in the court of public opinion. A wee 🧵👇🏻
You see, in a court of law, there are procedures. Protections. 4th amendment, 5th amendment, 6th amendment. Lots of amendments to protect people from, well people like Tucker in a court room. But Tucker isn’t in a court room.
We saw this during the first impeachment trial as well. Doug Collins, Jim Jordan. It is easy to cherry pick facts. Facts can serve your purpose. If your purpose is to call election interference a hoax, you can say, there is no ‘evidence’ to back it up. Why?

What is telling about the Senate Intelligence Hearing this morning is how Marco Rubio, it’s new Ranking Member, references Russia but goes hard on the ‘Chinese Communist Party’. This is branding folks. He is seeding the altnews-o-sphere with this easy to repeat language.
Remember when China was just China? He is working to normalize the use of the phrase ‘Chinese Communist Party’ because it will have an immediate negative connotation for those in his bubble. This would be as if we began to refer to his party as the Republican Fascist Party.
He is trying to create a boogeyman by being concerned about the future while paying no attention to the present. By diminishing the role of Russia, and placing the focus on ‘CCP’, he provides cover for what he knows is happening right now.

Louis DeJoy is testifying this morning. Someone should ask him why these areas had such reduced levels of mail delivery during the period leading up to the election. Check out Alabama.🧵👇🏻 Image
Here’s a bit more on Alabama, if you’re interested.
And then there is this. Another way to say ‘Misrepresented’ is perjured.
