I reviewed the @RepZoeLofgren document that outlines the 14th Amendment and shows 121 Members of Congress who shared social media posts about the election in the lead up to the Insurrection. The below is a deeper look by the numbers.
I have been following our government since trump descended the escalator and mentioned ‘rapists’ in his presidential candidacy launch speech. After watching hearings and reading transcripts for years, one begins to recognize certain issues and message pushing narratives.
One may get to a point where their unconscious bias may take over and I didn’t want to reach that point when I reviewed this @RepZoeLofgren 14th Amendment Document. I was sure I could name those who were on it and those I think need to be expelled, but I wanted to remove my bias.
With that in mind, I reviewed the posts of the 121 Members of Congress and assigned them ‘points’ for certain messages. The more ‘points’ on the spreadsheet, the higher the need to remove them from Congress based on my concerns. These concerns were used to assign ‘points’...
Each Member received a ‘point’ if they:

-Objected to Election Certification (Free Space, they all did)
- Q’d
-Stormed the SCIF
-Mentioned Voting Machines
-Mentioned GA
-Are in the Freedom Caucus (📌1)
-Claimed ‘Russia Hoax’
-Promoted the Big Lie
-Disseminated disinformation
Each Member received a ‘point’ if they:

-Mentioned Mo Brooks (📌2)
-Promoted the Insurrection with # Save the Steal rhetoric
-Were present at the Pre-Insurrection Rally
-Could reasonably be at risk of penalties above the 14th Amendment 👈🏻 The most difficult ‘point’ to get.
With me so far?

So that is a total of 13 ‘points’. I like this because 13 is not an even number. It gives the ability to suggest anyone OVER 7 points should be immediately expelled. 8 and you’re out. 7 and under requires additional scrutiny.
These 13 categories are still a bit biased, because they are my concerns. But the Reps gave themselves ‘points’ based on their actions. Doing 8 of the above things immediately before, during and after an Insurrection seems like a pretty high bar to be expelled, as it should be.
Once points were assigned, I hid the names in attempt to remove bias. I simply calculate the points to see who meets the criteria set forward. Finally, the higher the number, the deeper the involvement in the Insurrection. The higher the number, the more damage to the democracy.
The higher the number, the more severe consequences the Representative should face. @RepZoeLofgren not only shows us who to look at for their role in the Insurrection, it allows us to see directionally how to treat their deeds.
Here is a look at the numbers:

121 Members of Congress appear on @RepZoeLofgren’s list.
7 score 8 or higher thus meet aforementioned expulsion criteria.

5 of those are in the Freedom Caucus
2 of them represent Arizona
1 of those got the highest score...
Paul Gosar (R-AZ) scored an 11 out of 13!
On page 242, there is a picture of Paul Gosar with the Proud Boys. They were also present at the January 6th Insurrection. They were outside the Capitol when Paul Gosar was inside the Capitol doing this👇🏻
Remember when I mentioned the part about media personalities knowing as early as Nov 5th the ‘biggest political rally in history’ would take place? That was in a tweet since deleted by Andy Biggs. See page 200 of The @RepZoeLofgren Document.
Andy Biggs (R-AZ) scored 9 of 13. 2nd highest.

📌1 from above related to the Freedom Caucus. Andy Biggs is the chairman of the Freedom Caucus. Page 188 of The @RepZoeLofgren Document shows Andy Biggs connections to Oathkeepers (also at the Insurrection).

For more on Biggs👇🏻
The Freedom Caucus essentially grew out of the Tea Party. The holder of the permit for the Pre-Insurrection Rally at the Ellipse was a woman named Kylie Jane Kremer. She is the daughter of the ‘mother of the Tea Party’ Amy Kremer. To read that permit and more on Amy Kremer see👇🏻
Mo Brooks (R-AL) scored 8 out of 13.
📌2 from above related to mentioning Mo Brooks.
Weird, right? Why would mentioning Mo Brooks concern me? Because people who were retweeting Mo Brooks were echoing his message and his message was one of disinformation, and Insurrection.
After reading the embedded threads from the last 2 tweets are you seeing the picture developing?
The remaining Representatives scoring 8 or above in our wee review here are as follows:

Matt Gaetz (R-FL) - 11 of 13 He’s atop the leader board with Gosar and none of you are surprised by this.

Lauren Boebert (R-CO) -9

Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) - 8

Billy Long (R-MO)- 8
What is really concerning is when we see it this way, there are two freshman Members of Congress who scored higher than over 118 other Members in Lofgren’s document! Their first act was to work toward the erosion of democracy. Essentially sent to do it. We must now ask by whom?
As for whether or not I was able to remove the bias, well...

Louie Gohmert (R-TX) scored 7
Jim Jordan (4-OH) scored 6

My bias would’ve expelled them without further scrutiny. They deserve further review, but their activities solely from this one do not rise to 14th for me.
This is just a quick review. A reading of the tea party leaves if you will. @RepZoeLofgren provides a path to 14th Amendment expulsion. Will we follow it to its end? housedocs.house.gov/lofgren/Social…

Folks, there are certain Members of Congress doing things that are of true public service. @RepZoeLofgren is such a member. This is something that has flown under the radar, but is extremely important for our democracy. It has to do with the #14thAmendment. 🧵👇🏻
The 14th amendment is the one that basically says, if you engaged in insurrection, you can’t hold public office.

@RepZoeLofgren has released this doc.

housedocs.house.gov/lofgren/Social…

Please read it or just follow along in the thread below. (But read it, to form your own conclusions)
The document outlines 121 Members of Congress social media posts. It shows their name, district, state, committees they sit on (ie armed services, intelligence 👀) and social media posts they sent before, during, and after the Insurrection. I place them into one of 4 categories:

On January 6th, 2021 the United States endured a deadly insurrection upon its Capitol, unleashed by its president. Insurrectionists are being arrested and charged, but what about those responsible for planning and producing the days activities? 🧵👇🏻
Settle in folks, this is going to be a morning coffee kind of thread. Here we go...

Prior to Insurrectionists entering the Senate chamber, there was a ‘rally’ at the Ellipse 📌1(put a pin in that). The rally had logos displaying My Pillow and Women For America First PAC.
This is a logical place to start if you’re wondering who paid for or who put this production together. We now know that the My Pillow guy is being sued for $1.3b for spreading lies about the election software used to count votes. Here is that lawsuit.

Let’s take a wee look at trump’s inauguration fund shall we? You may have recently heard Jr and Ivanka have been deposed. But this could go way further than the kids. 🧵👇🏻

This started in December of 2018. Two things that stick out to me in the above article is the information came from Michael Cohen just prior to his imprisonment, and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. You remember her...she was friends with Melania.

Here is the thing about the Tucker Carlson types. It is easy to simply dismiss something due to ‘lack of evidence’. This is a semantics tool. ‘Evidence’ is something that can be used in court of law. Tucker argues in the court of public opinion. A wee 🧵👇🏻
You see, in a court of law, there are procedures. Protections. 4th amendment, 5th amendment, 6th amendment. Lots of amendments to protect people from, well people like Tucker in a court room. But Tucker isn’t in a court room.
We saw this during the first impeachment trial as well. Doug Collins, Jim Jordan. It is easy to cherry pick facts. Facts can serve your purpose. If your purpose is to call election interference a hoax, you can say, there is no ‘evidence’ to back it up. Why?

What is telling about the Senate Intelligence Hearing this morning is how Marco Rubio, it’s new Ranking Member, references Russia but goes hard on the ‘Chinese Communist Party’. This is branding folks. He is seeding the altnews-o-sphere with this easy to repeat language.
Remember when China was just China? He is working to normalize the use of the phrase ‘Chinese Communist Party’ because it will have an immediate negative connotation for those in his bubble. This would be as if we began to refer to his party as the Republican Fascist Party.
He is trying to create a boogeyman by being concerned about the future while paying no attention to the present. By diminishing the role of Russia, and placing the focus on ‘CCP’, he provides cover for what he knows is happening right now.

Louis DeJoy is testifying this morning. Someone should ask him why these areas had such reduced levels of mail delivery during the period leading up to the election. Check out Alabama.🧵👇🏻 Image
Here’s a bit more on Alabama, if you’re interested.
And then there is this. Another way to say ‘Misrepresented’ is perjured.
