"Publicity stunts on #IWD are an insult to the women they continually exploit to produce clothing like these 'feminist' t-shirts."

Boohoo is one of the biggest fast fashion brands to be accused of modern slavery in recent times, with an investigation finding garment workers in the UK being paid just £3.50 an hour.

We looked inside those factories last year 👇

As a result of these findings, Boohoo could have all US imports banned.

Last week it was reported that the US Customs and Border Protection were looking into these claims.

As @francesleach_ argued last year too, exploitation and sweatshops are central to fast fashion.

With the vast majority of garment workers being women, the best thing brands can do for #InternationalWomensDay is dismantle these practices.

"The real feminist thing to do on #IWD is to commit to an audit of their supply chains, make a commitment to be transparent about their factories and overhaul their model to stop over-producing garments destined for landfill."

Bitcoin’s environmental impact is well-documented, with its current carbon output roughly the equivalent of New Zealand’s.

But perhaps renewable energy is the future for cryptocurrencies 👇

So finding a green solution is a must for the cryptocurrency.
