Florida ranks 30 out of 34 states for vaccine equity. Vaccines intended for rural Black communities have instead gone to wealthy white communities and DeSantis donors. 4/n

Since December, members of an ultra-wealthy Key Largo community have donated $335,000 to @GovRonDeSantis.

Nearly all of the 65+ residents of this community were able to receive vaccinations before most Floridians had the chance to even sign up. 7/n

Now, to address the corruption top Democratic leaders across the state are calling for an investigation into vaccine disparities for what some are calling a “vaccine auction” distributing vaccines to the highest bidders. 8/n

After all of this, one thing is clear— @GovRonDeSantis has played political favorites with vaccine access from the start.

This level of public corruption is not only reprehensible and potentially criminal, it’s life threatening for many Floridians. 9/9
