Another sad loss to hit the arts & entertainment industry. My sincerest condolences to the family of the late Anne Nhira. In recognition of her contributions to the industry and March as Women’s month, isn’t she suitable to be made a Provincial Hero?
2/ Unless of course Soul Jah Love was conferred for performing at @ZANUPF_Official rallies? Anne appeared on state media, doesn’t that qualify her too? A YARDER who attended the last @YARDzim2023 public lecture and as a young, talented female she should be conferred the status
3/ I don’t dispute Soul Jah Love’s popularity & the mark he made; I enjoyed his music too, but I would want to know why the late Anne Nhira couldn’t be given Provincial Hero status and what the selection criteria is?

1/ Yesterday in Parly, I questioned why there have been increases in school fees. Private schools, Trust schools have been increasing fees. How do you justify this increase when children haven’t been to school & parents’ income has been adversely affected by the COVID pandemic
2/ Granted there’s been online learning but how does it reconcile with physical absence? The debate has been raging, this is stealing money from people. I know the parents can’t speak, but I represent everybody in the country much in the same way I’d represent the Chilonga people
3/This is a topical issue and the private schools are victimising parents and their children for speaking out. I think we need to tackle this head on. Private schools need to be brought before a Parly Committee to be asked to justify school fee increases when it’s online learning
1/ I note politicians crossing floors and joining @ZANUPF_Official but the question is, which ZANU-PF are they joining? I continue to maintain, it’s no longer the ZANU-PF we all once knew.
2/ When the likes of, Jabulani Sibanda, Mai Mujuru, Rugare Gumbo, Ray Kaukonde, Mushore, Bvundura, etc, go back to ZANU-PF, then you know it’s the ZANU-PF we once knew; the real deal. For now it’s an ignominy
3/ A ZANU-PF yana Mudha nana July Moyo ingave ZANU-PF here? Aiwa, no! These are examples of those who’ve destroyed the Party, who can’t even win elections in Midlands.
It's unfortunate the Agriculture Minister is already celebrating the alleged success of Pfumvudza which is actually a falsity. Facts on the ground are showing otherwise. The excessive rains have caused massive leeching and most of the holes were filled with water.
Pfumvudza works where there is not much water. Again, people have struggled to access AN fertiliser& are being limited in buying it; the Agritex officers on the ground have been struggling, some with no transport or fuel to facilitate the program etc.
In typical fashion the Minister's statement is a bastardisation of facts, remotely compiled from an office& is out of touch with the facts on the ground. For an example, I invite him to come to my village and see the results of Pfumvudza.
The remarks by @TafadzwaMugwadi accusing @BitiTendai of colluding with doctors in killing @zanu officials are not just mischievous but a tragic travesty against common-sense& political maturity. I know Biti& also understand the state of the country's healthcare system.
It's tragic to find a young man, whom I have previously defended in the ANC fiasco, doubling down fomenting baseless claims. These are instances where as a politician @TafadzwaMugwadi should know when to speak and when to be quiet.
Mbanje ngadziite shoma.
Any politician of repute& sense should have that intelligence to know when to speak and when not to, so as to avoid finding themselves on the wrong side of history, logic and progress.
1/ I was recently approached by a committee of people, Bevern Capital New Investors Committee, who were fleeced of their investments by a company by the name of Bevern Capital. The company is said to be owned by Bevern Dzinoenda, Ambrose Chikukwa and Richard Samunda
2/ The company would collect USD deposits from hapless investors dating back from the year 2018 until August 2020 when they unceremoniously closed, purportedly for compliance and regulatory issues which at the time were alleged to be being resolved
3/ Since then nothing has happened and the would-be investors have lost close to USD18 million in what now, smacks of being a fraudulent scheme. @ZACConline
I have no problem with the late JB Matiza, who was a hardworking Minister. However the conferring of hero status on him become a problem when one realises epic war veterans like Dumiso Dabengwa are not there. The inconsistencies are just shocking.
Is this the start of a changing criteria considering JB was never part of the struggle? He could have been made a provincial hero, yes but having overlooked other meritorious war veterans only to confer some like JB is shocking. What is the criteria now? Is there even one?
No wonder Mugabe refused to be buried there, the place has lost meaning due to politicisation. There are many war veterans, ZAPU people, not buried there but have enough credentials. Taifunga kuti zvekuHeroes zvine zera, it appears that's not the case yangove ndonga ndonga.
