RBI released annual report of the Ombudsman Schemes of the Researve Bank for 2019-20 on 9th feb 2021. Its surprisingly that complaints against NBFCs have increased. Banking ombudsman had received a total of 19432 complaints in FY 20 as against 3991 in FY 19

The highest number of complaints in NBFCs were against Bajaj Finance Limited followed by Imdiabulls and HDB Financial Services Limited.

The total number of complaints against SBI and nationalised banks has decreased to 2.25% from 2019 to 2020 while in private bank increased to 3.92%.
Now this data shows PSBs give better services or Private banks.
