@Hadithoftheday The Ansar were the people of Madinah who welcomed and accepted the Muhajirin.
"Ansar" is an arabic word which means "Helpers".
Ansar were the local people of Madinah who took Muhammad ﷺ & his followers (Muhajirin) into their homes when they migrated from Makkah during Hijrah.
@Hadithoftheday Ansar were the Medinese who aided Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Muhajirun (Makkan Muslims who emigrated from makkah to madinah).
The Ansar were members of the two major Medinese tribes,
1.Al-Khazraj and
2. Al-Aws,
@Hadithoftheday Ansar were the people from Madinah who gave material support and the bayah (pledge of allegiance) to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and by the permission of Allah made the hijrah possible.
The event of the Hijrah was a turning point in the history of Islam
@Hadithoftheday Allah was pleased with Ansar and they were pleased with Allah and Allah has prepared Jannah as their eternal dwelling.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:

"And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow (9:100)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had a deep respect for Ansar, and expressed his feelings by saying, "You are from the people I love most.".
The well-known companions from Ansar were :
Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, Anas ibn Malik, Ka'b ibn Malik, Sa'd ibn Muadh, etc
@Hadithoftheday The Ansars of Medina showed the best example of self-denial and heroic sacrifice. Allah praised their unique sincerity, hospitability, gratitude, generosity, and self-sacrifice which they showed to their immigrant brothers.
@Hadithoftheday The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Love for the Ansar is a sign of faith and hatred for the Ansar is a sign of hypocrisy.” [Bukhari & Muslim]
@Hadithoftheday The Prophet ﷺ, said, “None loves the Ansar but a believer, and none hates them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah will love him. Whoever hates them, Allah will hate him.”
- (Bukhari and Muslim)
@Hadithoftheday The Ansar tried to outdo each other in making the Muhajireen comfortable in Madinah and put themselves and their possessions at the service of the newcomers.
@Hadithoftheday Ansar were the ‘Helpers’, the country folk of Yathrib, many of whom accepted the Prophet of Allah ﷺ while not having yet seen him. They were the magnanimous hosts of the Prophet ﷺ and the Muhajireen (Emigrants).
@Hadithoftheday Ansar didn't gave just portions of their annual income, but swathes of farm land—sources of income—to their new brothers and sisters. They gave away the shirts on their backs,& displayed the genuine love that comes with true hospitality
Allah is pleased with Ansar (Quran 9:100)

@Hadithoftheday Lut A.S.
The angels arrived at the outskirts of Lut A.S's town in the form of very handsome human beings.
They said to Lut A.S as mentioned in Qur'an,
“O Lut, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you,” (Qur’an 11:80)
@Hadithoftheday Community of Lut A.S was destroyed by their land turning upside down and a rain of stones (sijjil) fell upon them.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned."
(Qur'an. Ash-Shu'araa 26: Verse 173)
@Hadithoftheday Lut A.S went to the city of Sodom after Ibrahim A.S had asked him to do so.
The people of Sodom were of the most immoral and insolent nature. Although they were guilty of many vices, one stands out glaringly among all the rest – homosexuality or sodomy.

@Hadithoftheday Protection of Allah Against Satan (Shaytan).
Allah says in Qur'an:
"So when you recite the Qur'an, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy]."
(Qur'an. An-Nahl 16: Verse 98)
@Hadithoftheday One should seek refuge with Allah from Satan. It is because that Satan is expelled from the mercy of Allah and is an enemy to humans as Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy." (Surah Fatir: 6).
@Hadithoftheday Satan aspires to avert one away from the straight path of Allah, so one should treat him as an enemy and protect himself/herself from him by obeying Allah and seeking refuge with Him.

@Hadithoftheday His Lord called him, 'O Ayoub! Didn't I make you rich enough to dispense with what you see now? ' Ayoub A.S said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings.' ( Sahih Bukhari - 7493)

@Hadithoftheday Bani Israel.
Bani Israel was the most impertinent, cowardly and troublesome race. That is why prophet after prophet was sent to their communities, to rectify their disbelieving ways.
@Hadithoftheday Some of the Prophets from Bani Israel were:
1. Yaqoob A.S
2. Yusuf A.S
3. Musa A.S
4. Dawood A.S
5. Sulayman A.S
6. Isa A.S.
The Banu Israel are mentioned so often in the Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday The Banu Israel are called by this name because Israel was another name for Yaqub A.S,& from his twelve children came the twelve tribes that constituted Banu Israel. After Yusuf A.S became the minister of Egypt, they migrated there.

Thus origin of Banu Israel startes from Egypt
