"TRAITORS GET SHOT" - Feds allege Reffit threatened his children if they turned him. "Choose a side or die"... (2)

"WE ALL HAD WEAPONS BUT NEVER FIRED A SINGLE ROUND" - Justice Dept says Reffit brought firearms to DC on Jan 6 (3)

"THIS HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN" - Feds say Reffit is member of the 3%-ers and boasts of taking the Capitol ... but foreshadows more to come (4)

"DC IS A FUTILE EFFORT NOW" - Court filings say Reffit is urging for attacks against mainstream media and big tech, now that the Capitol has been fortified w/ enhanced security (5)

GUN SILENCER - In raid of his home, feds say they found zip ties and a gun silencer. They say Reffit claimed the silencer was a "fuel filter" for his car (6)

THE PLAN: Feds allege Reffit talked about "dragging those people out of the Capitol by their ankles" during his drive from Texas to DC on Jan. 5 (7)

Justice Dept is asking a judge to hold Reffit in pretrial detention, arguing there are no conditions under which he can be safely released (END)

THREAD: Some horrors are described in a court filing against alleged US Capitol insurrectionist Michael Lopatic of Lancaster, PA. He's accused of "pummeling" a DC police officer as that officer attempted to save a wounded colleague

He allegedly grabbed the officer by the head and threw uppercut punches

Then... amid the savage fight.... he allegedly stole the officer's body-work camera. Showing "the foresight to traverse an angry mob to take what would have been a crucial piece of evidence in bringing those who attacked officers... to justice"

In 2016, a DC nonprofit employee named Jarrett admitted a scheme to impersonate the chief of staff of Rep John Lewis.

According to his plea agreement, Jarrett created fake stationary with the Congressman’s name and Cannon House Office Bldg suite number.... but listed his own personal cell phone number

Jarrett’s scheme was to pretend to be Congressman Lewis’ chief of staff to get access to the sidelines of a Washington Redskins game and “special” access to the Clevelander bar on South Beach in Miami. It worked.
