NEW: I've just spoken to Georgina, 27, who was at the vigil last night
On the way home, she was flashed by a man next to Clapham Common
She alleged that she told a nearby policeman about it and was dismissed: "No, we’ve had enough tonight with the rioters" #ReclaimTheseStreets
Georgina says a policewoman initially said she would check it out - but was effectively over-ruled by the male officer next to her. "He started moving the team into the van"
"I was just shocked to be told essentially to go away. Even if they said ‘were not going to go into it but we’ll walk you, that would have been something"
She has reported the officer's alleged conduct to the Met, who have arranged a meeting
Georgina lives near where Sarah Everard was last seen.
"You shouldn’t be scared around the police – you should feel protected. That’s not what happened. That's a shame," she tells @_LambethLife
On the police response: "What are they trained to do? What happened makes me feel really unsafe.
"I lived 5 mins away – if they’d just said they’d walk me to a better lit area that would have been fine...It would be nice for the police to help"
It's not the first time Georgina has been flashed on Clapham Common. Around last September, "a man was passed out - he had been touching himself. I had to walk around him," she says
"There's lots of drug usage here. It's a systemic issue. We need more money for mental health"

UPDATE: Statement from the Met police just now
"We are aware of a report that she tried to report this incident at the time to officers in the area – this will be looked at"
"Looked at" - that could mean anything from reading an email to launching a full blown inquiry/investigation...
Something tells me it won't be the latter...
To those saying Georgina doesn't exist or trying to cast doubt on this:
a) I've interviewed her
b) the Met police have literally responded and confirmed the report
c) You are the problem
UPDATE: Lambeth cllr tells me Cabinet Member for community safety Jacqui Dyer 'has had a full assurance that the incident is being thoroughly investigated'
NEW: Two female police officers visited Georgina last night (was meant to be Tuesday) after this story went viral
She says they were professional and apologised for the allegedly dismissive response of the male officer

It's time the BBC stopped treating these ideologues as 'neutral' experts
Can you imagine the @CLASSthinktank going on followed by @NEF with no corresponding right-wing balance?
Yesterday a new 'student group' linked to the US far right was invited on the BBC to promote their cause, despite totally lacking a base (other than some rich donors). BBC called them a 'grassroots group' without evidence

This contradicts the original statement from the party (since deleted) that they had no knowledge of the charges until David Challenor was convicted #AimeeChallenor
Statement by Clare Phipps for Green Party Women calls for the party to apologise to #AimeeChallenor for not disclosing that they (allegedly) knew of the charges at the time:
