Random marital advice...

Try not to make each other the subject of jokes/comical jabs when you're around others. The energy/message it conveys is gloomy (even when there's no strong animosity behind it) and it makes your company uncomfortable.
I overheard that once and it impacted me. I now notice it in social settings. Couples who are broken do it constantly, wickedly. But it's incredible how prevalent it is when you're aware to look for it. I've grown to believe it is a barometer of some kind.
After having that light bulb turned on (which you can't turn off), I realized my wife and I did it quite frequently. Never felt harmful before; in fact, I never even noticed. But I now realize that description above is 100% accurate. It's a lose-lose on all sides, yet so common.

This is not some impact tweet, genuine question...

How do we devalue victimhood as a currency in America? For many, it's become THE most valuable to them. Across society, it's value has soared like Bitcoin.

How do we reverse this toxic snowball effect? Because we must.
I believe I know the answer in theory, but it is challenging in application because of the climate we're operating in.

Any thoughts? Like, what tangible steps/actions can be taken that would lead to victimhood losing value?

Curious your thoughts. I'll share mine later.

One thing that's going to come from the changing landscape of media and the ability for large platform people to go independent, will be an erosion of the good ol boys network that's always held such control there. Platforms like Substack are under such attack right now both
because ideologues are freaking out that they're losing the griphold on information control the left has held for a long time, but also because the corporate fat cats don't won't to lose that power structure.

Once everything isnt filtered through these same people, then...
journalists shouldn't have to care anymore about whether executives may find something too sensitive; or have to walk on egg shells on Twitter to make sure some petulant brat with 400k followers doesn't get mad.

No, discourse shouldnt be curbed to please anyone's demands.

This is the mindset of evil and hatred brewing in America. And it is being pumped and pumped and pumped some more every hour of every day.

Not just by clowns like this and Talbert Swan, but look around at the usage of "white" and "whiteness" on the mainstream airwaves.
Case in point...

Check the below out. Mind you, this is a veteran sports reporter who has been with prominent outlets like SI, ESPN, and now USA Today. This is par for the course now, folks... and it's horrifying!
