Senate Republicans closing in on an audit team, name not released yet. As mentioned yesterday, they have reached out to some recorders to lead a bipartisan hand recount.

One thing to remember: Recorders don't count ballots. Election departments do.
Coconino county is the only remaining jurisdictions that is joint recorder/elections department. The prudent thing to do would be to ask election directors to lead a hand recount. They are direct reports to the county BOS.
I have spoken to a few of my friends in the election world out here. Anecdotally, there was unanimous agreement that hand counting 2.1 million ballots and expecting 100% would be a logistical nightmare.
On top of that, any human errors that may results in a hand count would be picked up and twisted around by the gold standard of journalistic responsibility itself, the Gateway Pundit. Which, of course, would just add more confusion than there already is.
