This does seem to be part of a pattern for the bureau recently. I’ve noticed fewer mentions of dates: recent affidavits/statements of fact don’t tend to mention WHEN the bureau first received a tip on an arrested insurrectionist.
Robert Scott Palmer lawyered up and his attorney reached out to the FBI/USAO once HuffPost’s story ran on March 5, so they don’t exactly need to spell out every little detail here to get it past a magistrate. But can’t help but feel a bit shortchanged! huffpost.com/entry/florida-…

Yet another case in which former classmates told the FBI about their worst Facebook friend. (The charges against Dillan Homol went public yesterday.) courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
On Facebook live: “They can’t stop us all, come on we are going into the Capitol, can’t stop us all.”
To the feds: "HOMOL claimed that he was forced into the Capitol building by the crowd and he could not fight back against the crowd when he entered the building.”
Palmer and his attorney are “are on opposite ends of the spectrum” politically (his attorney mentioned his photo with former President Obama on his office), but he described him as a "decent guy” who is “regretful and remorseful.” huffpost.com/entry/florida-…
The case against Robert Scott Palmer is still under seal in D.C., but court records in the Middle District of Florida indicated he was arrested today. More when we have it. huffpost.com/entry/florida-…
An all-white jury (with two Black alternates) for the trial of three white St. Louis cops charged with beating their Black colleague, who was undercover as a protester.
St. Louis cops brutalized a bunch of protesters that night, but only the cops who accidentally beat up their own colleague actually got charged. stltoday.com/news/local/cri…
“let’s whoop some ass."
“it’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these shitheads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart.”
