Depression means different things for different people. Whether it’s something you’ve dealt with your whole life, something that was triggered by an event, or something that frequently comes and goes, one thing is certain—depression steals so much of your life.
For some, it can last for days and for others it can last for years. For me, the best way I can describe depression is by looking at this shit as a physical being. I imagine it as a monster!
A monster that grabs you & throws you in a dark & stale room. As hard as you try to escape, the door is locked. So you sit in the corner and wait. Wait for any light to turn on, any window to open, or for that medication to kick in, finally opening that door and setting you free.
Before experiencing this monster, I was a completely different person. I was fun, adventurous, and passionate about the things I loved. I traveled few places, and spent as much time as I could with my family and friends...
My life has changed a lot in the last 5 years.

Volunteer!
Find a good cause you care about and give your time to it. Serve in some way. Volunteering transforms your hard work into other people’s happiness. This is one of the most common acts of kindness that you can do.
Contribute to a Charity!
If you can’t serve a charity or nonprofit, you can give financially or even raise money with a fundraiser. Volunteering and contributing to charity are acts of kindness that require sacrifice but are definitely worth it.

Why do you pay tithe if I may ask? I very well know that nobody in the bible paid tithe because he was looking for breakthrough or financial reward like your pastors promise you. 😂😂
These pastors says the old testament is done away with... but they use an Old Testament scripture to collect tithes from the people.
Mal 3 was in response to the commandment in Deut 14 22-29 . It is meant to be eaten by the tithe payer in the presence of God.
The people had abandoned the instruction and God was asking them to go back to it. Malachi used "meat" not money because tithe was edible.
