I’m going to have to watch the Snyder Cut at some point. I’ve mocked the idea of it for years. I feel obligated.
The 4:3 thing is cracking me up.

I only made it through the first hour the other night. Trying again this morning. There are some bits that were good that didn’t make the original release, but a lot of what was cut wasn’t necessary. Most of the cuts make total sense to me.

The worst thing so far is Darkseid. Holy shit. It’s Doomsday without the spiky bits. He turned one of the main evil geniuses of the DC universe into a grunting ball of rage. This is a total misunderstanding of the character.

It’s this kind of shit that makes me hate these Zack Snyder DC movies. He fundamentally doesn’t understand the characters. It’s really shocking to see someone whiff it so badly on one of the most interesting villains in comic book history.
