Take comfort in the fact that everything you ever do will eventually be completely irrelevant.
Not meant as a justification for not trying, quite the opposite.
We all make forgettable things in the pursuit of making less forgettable things.

There's only a marginal difference between the two.
This is the one mental tweak that rules over all, in my opinion.

All we really need is a bias for action and a bit of resilience when things don't work out the way we thought they were going to.
