Here are my Top 3 Principles to making progress in the gym - REGARDLESS of the routine you use...

You incorporate these things thing into ANY program and you will make big changes, no doubt.
1) Progressive Overload.

If you lift the same weights day in, day out you can't expect your body to change much. You have to get stronger in some capacity in order to get bigger.
This might be adding weight to the bar over time, doing more reps with the same weight, doing more sets, doing your workout faster (shorter rests) etc.

The name of the game here is to GET BETTER. Put stress onto the body. Force it to adapt and grow.

Coats for the fall/winter season.

Lots of options to choose from.

Here's a quick rundown of what to consider...
1 - Top Coat

This a great versatile option that can be easily dressed up (e.g. worn over a suit) or worn casually.
You can also incorporate different patterns and colors: (e.g. camel, bold check, houndstooth etc.).

You can even play around with different styles (double vs single breast - notch lapel vs peak lapel etc.).

This is why I prefer top coats - tons of variety.

1 - Don't try to keep it real

The street style looks with the skinny jeans, hoodies, printed/graphic tees and ball caps etc. should be avoided.

Popular culture is all about youth these days but you're a mature man and you shouldn't be afraid to embrace that. Image
2 – Be careful with faded denim

Can you wear faded denim? Yes...but it has to be subtle/understated. Anything overly distressed or stylized should be avoided.

Best move is to stick to plain denim. Image

Let's talk about denim jeans.

Specifically, how many pairs you need and in which washes.

But before we get into that let's cover fit.

There is a healthy range that is considered acceptable:
I recommend most guys go for either a straight or slim fit with a tapered leg opening.

The tapered leg opening makes a BIG difference.

Gives your legs shape and dimension.
Even on bigger guys, a slimmer fitting jean with a tapered leg is more flattering:

Bald guy style advice...because I have readers who keep asking.

1) If you're going bald...just shave your head. Embrace the look. You don't have to take a razor to it either, clipping/buzzing it short is fine.

Statham did just fine embracing the look...
Same with someone like Andre Agassiz...btw that hair you see on the left is mostly a weave (funny story from his biography).
Bruce Willis is yet another good example...I think you get the idea.

If you're losing it, embrace it.
