03.23.21 PROTECTING YOUR AURIC FIELD. Hi, beautiful lightworkers. I am back in school...and I'm excited to have some great classes this quarter, including one on "Mysticism." I'm surprised at how many lightworkers I've found at a theological university.
I intend to give you more information on healing--but we're at the part of the discussion where you may need to do something important before you can really learn to be a healer. We all, as energy workers, need to learn to understand and protect our own auric field.
Our own auric field, our "aura," is that part of our soul that is fairly easy to sense, as it is beyond our physical body. It is the part of our Higher Self that is physically around us at all times, and we need to protect ourselves from energetic attack from others.
The first skills that return to most Lightworkers, during their every-lifetime process of "awakening," are their gifts of being an "Empath." An "Empath," in this context, is one who can sense and feel the energy of others.
If you've ever been to a crowded grocery store, or a sporting event, or anything that draws a big crowd, and then went home feeling completely exhausted, it is because the energy of others entered your energetic self, and drained you of energy.
I think most of us have experienced this type of problem, which can also occur when we meet with just one other person who is someone who drains the energy of others.
In order to be an effective healer, as well as protect yourself energetically in an environment which has some wild and low energetic turbulence, it is necessary to learn to protect one's auric field, and keep unwanted energy from entering.

If you've been part of our community for awhile, and you already know how to do this, a good review is always a benefit, as it will help you learn to teach others these skills. Adjusting our auric shield is something we need to do on a frequent basis.
Doing each of these steps will teach you to protect yourself. I will talk in the next week and beyond about some of the dark problems that affect us. You will need the full protection of your own energetic shield.
Please, please, take the time to learn how to protect yourself. You will be safer in every situation, more able to do the things you want to do as a Lightworker.
