THREAD: Here we go with Don Lemon's chyrons and facial expressions during his new opening rant about gun control.
CNN's day started with the claim that #2A supporters like mass shootings, and it's ending with this rhetorical bile.
I mean, this is such a massive 👖 on 🔥 that it'd require an entire inventory from a jeans factory to account for the pairs that would have to be lit on fire.
The claim that it's easier to get a gun than vote should be an early frontrunner for post-Trump lie of the year
No, Americans are not afraid of democracy, Don.
Americans fear a tyrannical government that hates them and wants to confiscate their legal firearms.
This is one of those statements where performance art is dangerous. You tell riled up viewers that the other side *likes* mass shootings and what do you expect to happen? You hear anecdotally about people cutting off friends and family with different views. This stuff is to blame
I like Berman. He's funny and jokey, which is something we need more of in this world. In particular, more CNN colleagues need to ascribe to this.
I know I say it all the time, but I'll say it again -- with people like Don Lemon in such a prominent position, if you're on the right, CNN truly hates you. They hate what you think, how you vote, and how you live your lives.
Cuomo, gaslighting: "There are often many motivations for making an allegation and that is why you need to know the facts before you make a decision...Politicians who don't know a single fact but yet form a conclusion and an opinion are in my opinion reckless and dangerous." (1/)
Cuomo: "People know the difference between playing politics, bowing to cancel culture and the truth...I am not going to resign. I was not elected by the politicians. I was elected by the people."
He goes onto add he must be a good guy b/c he's won so many elections (2/)
Cuomo insists he didn't do what's alleged b/c "I have been in the public eye my entire life" and then attacks anyone criticizing him by saying "an opinion without facts is irresponsible" and said the state review will then allow people to have "an intelligent conversation" (3/)
OMG Fox News had an on again and off again bug in the corner of #Tucker's live facial expressions during Biden's speech
Here's more of Fox News's live bug showing #Tucker Carlson's live facial reactions to Biden's speech.
It's already triggered Stelter and his pals who want to send every last Fox News staffer to unemployment, so you know they hit a nerve.
#Tucker's face was just priceless when Biden said that, if everyone behaves themselves, he'll allow us to gather in small groups....for the 4th of July
Reupping this from yesterday of @NewsNation's @BrianEntin being cursed at & threatened w/physical harm for reporting outside (not inside, outside) the autonomous zone where George Floyd died. If this were CNN at a GOP event, Tapper & Stelter would lose it
But CNN's Darcy, Stelter, and Tapper, MSNBC, The New York Times, and all the rest don't actually care about the lives of a journalist being threatened because they're currently trying to destroy @NewsNation for not being far-left, in-your-face partisans.
Peter Doocy: "You've been telling migrants from right there...that now is not the time to come, but they are coming in bigger numbers every day. So do you have a messaging problem?"
Psaki: "Well, I would say in the last administration, we had a morality problem."
Doocy: "Since the last administration is gone, tomorrow is 50 days of Biden & there are migrants showing up wearing t-shirts that say, 'Biden, please let us in'...why doesn't he come out & just say now is not the time?"
Psaki: "Well, actually he did an interview w/Univision..."
Doocy calls out the Biden CDC's mixed messaging: "Does the WH think that it's a problem when the CDC tells these migrant shelter facilities that they can be a full capacity...But when the CDC tells schools that they can open in person at full capacity, many of them don't?"
