I realised this last night but wanted to leave it to rule out that it was simply a matter of the post not being up long enough.
It's potentially linked to how many likes and shares, as the post with the bot/sock attention was 10x more popular, but I don't think it's that.

What you have to realise is sock puppet activity may look like random bellends sounding off, but it's meant to. What sock puppet activity is, is organised campaigning to skew natural discourse and debate online, to interject more of a set perspective.

In the same way one person can voice a whole draw full of fabric sock puppets (indeed, most parents of toddlers do), one handler regulates a group of Twitter sock puppet accounts. Some bother to try to look like a human, with scraped photos, bios, etc. but many don't try.

What does it tell us?
It tells us what motivates the sock puppet handlers isn't the prevention of violence, if it was they would be all over the incident of my child assaulting a boy.
Instead they turned on the outrage for a drawing.
It's idolatry- the worship of SYMBOLS.

Who else used a lot of symbols, all the time and had propaganda in every corner of citizens daily lives- even regulating how citizens communicate to eachother?

I can't do a lot about the presence of sock puppets. I have no intention of becoming right-wing (or worse, far-right), so it will continue to happen that some of my tweets are targeted.
What I can do though, is watch them right back, and learn from them- that's important.

The thing I have learned here (and you should too) is that there's a clear sock agenda to legitimise iconography and that in turn tells us, they are planning the increased use of symbols as a substitute for values.
It's a diversification of flag shagging, essentially.

And because all these systems are interconnected behind the scenes, what the sock puppets hawk about in one season, emerges as government policy the next.
