Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have gone insane.

GA voting law does not prohibit anything that is not also prohibited in Minnesota or New York. Every state in the nation has prohibitions on electioneering near polling places, which SCOTUS has affirmed as legitimate.
Let us look at the actual GA voting law changes. The changes to the existing law are shown in bold below.

The prohibition applies inside polling places, within 150 feet of a polling place, or “within 25 feet of any voter standing in line to vote at any polling place.”
This entire controversy is not about people dropping dead of hunger and thirst on long voting lines. It’s about electioneering around the polling place by people looking to advertise that they represent a cause, and who try to influence voters by giving them free stuff.
Forget giving water, Minnesota law has a broad ban on even approaching voters at a polling place.
What does the Supreme Court think of such prohibitions? Glad you asked.

In 2018, a 7–2 Supreme Court in Minn. Voters Alliance v. Mansky upheld Minnesota’s ban on voters wearing any sort of political badge, button, or insignia inside a polling place.
Chief Justice Roberts, noting that the majority of states had some restrictions on campaign-related clothing and accessories at the polls, explained:
The above excerpts are from this article that covers the topic quite nicely.

Biden mouthing off Stacey Abrams supplied talking point goes to show what a puppet Biden has become. He is losing his mind and his scruples simultaneously, although I am not sure he had any scruples ever. Behind his frail frame hides a grade-A partisan divisive fool.

1. Rip-Roaring Truth

Federal judge accuses NY Times, WaPo of being 'Democratic Party broadsheets'

This is so on point, I am going to highlight every single point in the article. This is rip-roaring truth.

2. D.C. Circuit Senior Judge Laurence Silberman used his opinion to argue that the Times and Post served largely as mouthpieces for the Democratic Party, adding “the news section of The Wall Street Journal leans in the same direction.”
3. “The orientation of these three papers is followed by The Associated Press and most large papers across the country (such as the Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, and Boston Globe),” he continued.

1. On Partisanship

Party loyalties hinder the brain’s ability to get a handle on reality. This article brings together some recent research in a remarkably illuminating way. Let us ponder a few key points.

2. In their 2018 study of why and how partisanship impairs the brain’s ability to process information objectively, NYU researchers Jay J. Van Bavel and Andrea Pereira note that “partisanship can alter memory, implicit evaluation, and even perceptual judgments.”
3. The researchers locate this neural polarization in the part of the brain known as the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex, a region associated with understanding and formulating narratives.

This lower charge ensures conviction. They know they can't convict him on second-degree murder charge.

"NYT: BREAKING NEWS

A judge reinstated a third-degree murder charge against Derek Chauvin in George Floyd’s death, clearing the way for the trial to move forward."
Derek Chauvin was initially correctly charged with third-degree murder. But there was an uproar and they upgraded the charge to second-degree to appease the crowds. Now they reinstate the third-degree murder charge because they know they overcharged and cannot get a conviction.
Second-degree murder is harder to prove than the third-degree murder. Second-degree requires evidence of intent to kill. Third-degree does not. Third-degree is a weaker charge, with a lower burden of proof, than the second-degree.

1. Covid-19 Herd Immunity On The Horizon

Caitlin Rivers, an epidemiologist at Johns Hopkins University: “After millions of infections and the start of a vaccination campaign, the virus is finally, slowly, starting to run out of new people to infect.”
2. Public discussion of “herd immunity” often treats it like an on-off switch. But that’s not right.

Herd immunity is more like a light dimmer. The more people develop immunity — either from having been infected or from being vaccinated — the less easily the virus will spread.
3. Nearly 30% of Americans have now had the virus (that includes many who have never taken a Covid test). About 18% have received at least one vaccine shot. There's some overlap between these two groups, which means that about 40% of Americans now have some protection from Covid.

The Miseducation of America's Elites

A must read article from one of my most favorite columnists (who quit New York Times for being suffocated there) -- Bari Weiss (@bariweiss).

"So it [is] more than ironic that a school that costs more than $40,000 a year — a school with Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett’s right hand, and Sarah Murdoch, wife of Lachlan and Rupert’s daughter-in-law, on its board — is teaching students that capitalism is evil."
The demonization of capitalism is the least of it. The children are afraid to speak up in class. They worry that the school’s new plan to become an “anti-racist institution” is making their kids fixate on race and attach importance to it in ways that strike them as grotesque.

Language was invented so humans could communicate by evoking shared and repeatable real experiences.

We've now come to a point where media, politicians, academia, and all manner of influential people are using language mostly to obfuscate human experiences to impose a viewpoint.
Nothing that is reported as 'news' any longer represents what actually happened. It only represents what the news media wants you to think happened. Maybe the news business was always this way, but it seems it used to have higher standards to avoid blatant and crass manipulation.
Note the obfuscation on Capitol riot of January 6.
