I'm very curious how this CNN special with the doctors - Fauci, Hahn, Birx - will portray them and how much blame they take themselves for the COVID response.

Dr. Fauci: "The decision we made on Jan. 10th to go all out and develop a vaccine may have been the best decision that I've ever made in regard to an intervention as the director of the institute." #CovidVaccine

CNN's Sanjay Gupta: "The life-saving and record-breaking vaccines that Dr. Fauci oversaw were a giant success for 'The Doctors' and for science and for the world."

Note, no credit given to Operation Warp Speed, pharmaceutical companies, Pres. Trump.

Dr. Redfield on the Wuhan lab. "A year after this pathogen [COVID] started, we are now having a critical analysis of where it came from by scientists. That just seems *a little* delayed. It seems to me that some of the information- people are not being transparent about it."

Dr. Redfield - former director of CDC - says he believes coronavirus started transmitting in Wuhan, China in Sept. or Oct. 2019.

"I still think the most likely ideology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory - you know escaped," said Dr. Redfield, the CDC Director in the Pres. Trump admin.

This is really stunning -- CDC Director Redfield never said what he thought was true -- which his boss, Pres. Trump said repeatedly -- that it's too unlikely for such a deadly coronavirus to come from a bat in the market, but instead escaped from the Chinese lab in Wuhan. #covid

Sanjay Gupta includes a sound bite from Dr. Birx saying she advised the White House to talk to the TV "medical correspondents" to educate the public but they didn't listen to her.

Sanjay Gupta: "A staggering one in three Americans has lost someone to COVID-19."

How is that accurate? 500,000 deaths (424,000 over 65 years old). 350,000,000 people in America

Dr. Fauci says he got a call on his cell from Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla to say the vaccine is 90% effective.

Was it before or after the election?
Was it before Pfizer submitted its EUA #COVIDvaccine request to FDA?

Dr. Fauci to CNN's Sanjay Gupta: "President Biden is doing a lot of things to really get science back on track. So I'm looking forward to the next four years."

If Gupta is going to make this totally non-scientific guess on how many relatives each person has who died from COVID in the past year. Then he should add context that MORE than 1 in 3 Americans lost someone to heart disease AND more than 1 in 3 lost someone to cancer.
